Thanks for the answers!

Re: Do you play as same or opposite gender?

In (MMO)RPGs, I always take the opposite: female. They usually appear to have a bit more attitude and beauty to them than the guys. (Could it be due to the many males in the industry?) Oddly enough, I still prefer male when playing Eroges, as I'm not used to getting something trust into my poo-poo. :(

Re: Playing with reader expectation

I don't know, though. I don't think I'm really cut out for writing VNs, actually! I don't like the archetypes and cliches, and I actually really dislike the idea that a person is your reward for reading through the thing. It just... bothers me. If you don't like the archetypes and clichés, then –by...

Re: Do we have any shooters/firearms owners here?

Anyone prefer the good ol' bow & arrow approach? I feel like firearms are the gems of modern engineering, while bows can only shine in the hands of their shooter. Of course, I won't argue that it takes just as much finesse to shoot an apple off auntie Barbara's head, as it does to hit a moving t...

Re: Settings that you would appreciate

The Internet – in real-life. Think of an epic tale such a LOTR, then replace the entire Tolkienish atmosphere with the quirkiness of the web. I'm not thinking of yet another hacker-story here, but rather, a complete overhaul of the world! Messaging boards represented as villages with their odd habit...

Re: Artschools..

Walked the stairway of fame on their own?! Most of the artists the public can name off the top of their head had years of schooling and apprenticeship to a master artist or school before branching out on their own. Truly self-taught artists - those with no outside instruction, teaching, or influenc...

Re: Artschools..

Though many parents may disagree with me saying so, I believe an art school is the only type of school –apart from home– where education is done more or less properly. Artistic freedom should be encouraged – not limited. While most well-known artists have walked the stairway of fame on their own, I ...

Re: How to create a solid work flow?

Have you tried mindmapping? It is the process of writing your ideas down in a hierarchical way, so you can easily structure that amazing plot you have in mind. There's plenty of software available to help you out too! I haven't tried this one out yet, but it's free & open-source, so looks promis...

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?

It appears we have common likes; I rate my series on a 10-grade scale, with ten being genius level: 10/10 – Cowboy Bebop 10/10 – Eureka Seven 10/10 – Mushishi 10/10 – 5cm Per Second (along with most of Shinkai's works; I highly recommend this) I can elaborate on any of them, but I feel masterpieces ...

Re: Real Instruments!

Can you post a demo – either in video or plain audio file – of the full orchestra? I'm interested in how good this sounds. You mention an awesome studio; I assume this is for solo or band-recordings, not for the entire orchestra? To end, I'd just like to know whether you can do electronic music as w...

Re: Why Are Dating Sims/VNs for the iOS so expensive?

Successful deployment of developed products for iOS is becoming increasingly difficult as Apple drives the control-dial UP and the profit-dial DOWN. Apple is changing its policies in perpetual motion resulting in developers having to rapidly adjust their apps in order to comply to whatever new card ...
