Re: Controlling the songs. Is there a code for that?

Akakyouryuu created such code some time ago. I tested it at that time and it worked well, but I don't know if it's compatible with the latest Ren'Py version. His site is in Japanese, but Google can help you. http://akakyouryuu.com/%E9%85%8D%E5%B8%83%E7%89%A9/renpy/ Look for the link ミュージックルーム用シークバー ...

Hi, Zokijauken. Welcome to Lemma Soft.

Re: Creating an ATL curve for throwing a baseball?

You can do it using ATL spline motion: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/atl.html ... -statement
This spline motion editor may be useful: viewtopic.php?p=367520#p367520
As for the spinning ball, you can define it as an ordinary ATL animated image.

Re: [Solved] How do you choose a theme (in the launcher)?

Fine. I'm also using the latest stable Ren'Py version.
For the record, the current Ren'Py Launcher, with all it's "best practices", still uses the old GUI. :)

Re: How do you choose a theme (in the launcher)?

The old themed GUI option was disabled in Ren'Py 7: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/changelog.html#changes But if you still want to work with the old theme GUI, create projects with the old themes, etc., that's still possible. You only need to download an older version of Ren'Py (pre-Ren'Py 7), open ...

Re: television lines effect

You can create a new layer and show your image there. image scanlines = "images/your image.png" init python: config.layers = [ 'master', 'mask', 'transient', 'screens', 'overlay' ] label start: show scanlines onlayer mask rest of your game... Re: Projection Starfield

Create your image with a transparent background. In script.rpy:

Code: Select all

    image my_mm_overlay = "images/your image.png"
In screens.rpy:

Code: Select all

screen main_menu():

    ## This ensures that any other menu screen is replaced.
    tag menu

    style_prefix "main_menu"

    use starfield
    add "my_mm_overlay"

Re: Projection Starfield

Now I want go to have this as Background in the Main Menu. Change the first lines of your main menu screen definition like this: screen main_menu(): ## This ensures that any other menu screen is replaced. tag menu style_prefix "main_menu" use starfield # add gui.main_menu_background

Jeez! Is this game still available? There's a very old thread about it in this forum:

Looks like it's a non-commercial game, so I would follow lara_dutts advice.

Re: How do I add my animated falling hearts to my main menu?

Got it to work! ...but now my game menu background turned into the main menu background instead. There a way to get my game menu BG back? Looks like it's only one of the New GUI's tricks which let me confused for some time too. Run your game, access the game menu by pressing Esc or using the quick ...
