Re: Do you play as same or opposite gender?

I play female so I can associate with the character more.
The only exception is when the game has different storylines depending on the gender, in which case I will play as both on different save files (as long as the game is compelling enough).

Re: Are you a Weeaboo?

I can't be.
I don't run around screeching about how Japan is better than any other country to have ever existed, I don't watch much anime, I don't have the time to read manga any more, and I actually know enough Japanese to be able to pronounce it correctly.

Re: Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward [999 Sequel!]

I am SO excited for this! The only thing that kind of concerns me is
that it's on 3DS and Vita. The fact that 999 was on DS was part of the plot. The 3DS and Vita are not very similar, so I'm just hoping that nothing is lost between the two versions.
Still, I couldn't be more excited for this!

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I hate my family's reasoning at times. They think just because I have an internet connection that I should know every last detail of what's on the news and such and get mad at me when I tell them I don't know. I may have the connection, but that dosen't mean I have the interest to bother searching ...

Re: Titles for Fantasy Games

I do agree that fantasy games in particular with more "convoluted" names tend to get my attention while browsing through titles. Granted, more convoluted games, in my experience, also tend to be used on games that rely on more cliches than others, mainly because those convoluted names tend...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I'm starting summer classes in a week, and while I'm really looking forward to them, I'm still slightly...anxious. Which is odd because I've already gone through an entire year of college with little to no issues adapting. It's just odd, really. I think it may be simply because I'm going to have to ...

Re: What are you going to do this summer ?

I'll be taking summer classes at college to get ahead. I'm actually excited because only about 5% of our student population takes classes during summer, so all the subjects that are impossible to sign up for during the year are now open!

Re: Which style is the best ?

Even if the game takes place in a college setting, dracothrope is right--it really just depends on the overall tone of the game! The first one does look a bit young, but from my experience most characters done in a manga style tend to look a bit on the young side. The second one would be great for a...

Re: Indie Game: The Movie

I love this movie! It's very insightful regarding the trials and tribulations indie developers go through while making a game. I was honestly surprised to see how much indie developers crunch, similar to AAA developers. And I loved how their thoughts on how the general public viewed their games was ...

Gyakuten Saiban--yup, Phoenix Wright 1 in Japanese. There were many headaches to be had.

This!

But in regards to the chart, it's not bad. I never thought of myself as a producer, but maybe that's because there are so many different things I'd like to do!

Re: Guestbook

Well hello everyone! I'm Flying Cat, I'm currently 19 and studying game development at SCAD. While I would love to make all sorts of games, including platformers and puzzles, I've always wanted to make a visual novel or two!
