Re: Can Lip Flap Be Synched (Sync / Synced) With Voice [solv
It's really hard to do anything timing-dependent with audio in ren'py - you can play a sound but you don't know when it will start and you can't detect it. I don't know exactly why but renpy uses pygame which uses SDL1 which I recall liked to create huuuuge audio buffers. LOL, so I've noticed. Ther...

Re: Can Lip Flap Be Synched (Sync / Synced) With Voice [solv
This is an excellent alteration to an already excellent code. Thanks a lot, Asceai! :3 I hope that one day somebody discovers a way to implement full animation/audio synching into Ren'py. Although I don't know how many people besides myself and a few others, are interested in such a feature. I also ...

Can Character Lip Flaps be Synced With Voices?
I realize that there aren't many people who include voices in their visual novels. But to those who do, has anybody discovered or developed a way to synchronize a character's lip animation with their voice track? For an example of what I'm referring to, see the video below: http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Re: Character shake not screen [Solved]
If you downloaded them, then you can see the codes in their game folder. Though, I don't want to past those old codes because those transforms were written without arguments. I didn't know transforms can take arguments at that time. I'm start making new ones for the next game which uses transforms ...

Re: Animated/Transitioning Menus
Alright, now I see where I was getting confused. I've got it working now.SundownKid wrote:That's just an example. Find the screen you want, and then find the element you want to add the transform to, like "imagebutton" or "vbox", then add "at (transform)"
Thanks a lot!

Re: Animated/Transitioning Menus
Alright, well my scripting skills are pretty limited.SundownKid wrote:You need to make an ATL transform, then add it to the window/button/whatever in the screens file.
How would I set it up so that the menu choices dissolve onto and off of the screen?

(SOLVED) Animated/Transitioning Menus
Hello. I've seen this done in a lot of Ren'py projects, but I just can't figure out how to do it myself. When the time comes in the game to make a choice, the menu dissolves onto the screen. In some games, the separate choices will move in from opposite parts of the screen. Sometimes both. How would...

Re: Does Ren'Py support Live 2D?
No, although I have seen this one before. But it's not written to sync with voices.Endorphin wrote: Do you mean >>this one<<?
Though I don't know if it's adjusted to voices.
I believe this is the one I was talking about. But as you can see, it's very old.

Re: Does Ren'Py support Live 2D?
Not sure if anyone's interested, but WifeWithAKnife and I translated some of the main menus, buttons etc. Images can be found at http://imgur.com/a/FIQCe You'll need to view full size to read them, especially the 6th image. The quality of editing is low, but as far as I know this is the only transl...

Re: Composer and Voice Actor Ready to Work!
Your composition skills and voice acting are excellent!
If I had the money, I'd ask you to compose some small tracks for my visual novel.
Keep up the good work.

As of right now, I don't have a specific number of CGs in mind.
The resolution will be 1280x720.
