yup... I need to echo everyone else!
I do a daily drawing/sketch (usually with some sort of emotional base), that takes an hour or more... plus I try and work on project related stuff most days as well, so it's even longer ^^;

I went to a Pokemon show thing today and got to try a short demo of X/Y... and Ran08, you're right; the graphics are very similar to the newer harvest moon games, I think. There is also a new feature that lets you roller blade (though I assume they're still going to have bikes?) which was pretty awe...

I shade all lips, regardless of the character age or type or gender; I think it's kind of silly when people don't shade the top lip, as if it isn't there or something. Whether I add any pink tones though, depends on the character. With all female characters I like to at least add a pinkish hue that ...

Sorry, I can't help you with Corel as i've never used the program.

If you're looking for a free program,why not give GIMP a try? I can't say I know very much about the blending (because again, I don't use the program), but I have seen people create some pretty nice artwork with it, so it must work.

I think you have a lot of potential! Your lines are pretty nice, the colouring in the first picture really isn't half bad (you pretty much got the lighting spot on).
