Re: This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG]
Writing this has been extremely unpredictable; while I'm not one to claim "the characters wrote the story," they really did this time. Everyone's story is much closer to each other than I expected, in addition to being much weirder . There's even an overarching plot, involving a dangerous ...

Re: This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG] [Slice of Life]
Woohoo! As the game itself is a proper game now, not just an idea, I've made a post on the WIP forums for it.

This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG]
While I took a break from my other game , I started a small side project. Initially, it was just a fun design and the vague kernel of an idea but it blossomed into something more... http://thisisnotagame.vnovel.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Screen-shot-2012-08-22-at-1.46.07-PM-e1345658408586.png T...

Re: This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG] [Slice of Life]
Yes, of course you can play through them again! That is in fact the main screen, mostly because I like how it looks. You can start a new game through here, beginning again with any of the characters. In the middle of the game, when you have to switch chapters, there's a separate menu for that. Obvio...

Re: This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG] [Slice of Life]
Basically, (well, not basically , but this is the best way to describe it,) there are three stories: Satoshi, Eri, and Midori's. Each of these have three acts or chapters. If you play Satoshi first, then after him you can choose Eri or Midori for the second chapter. If you choose Eri, you can only c...

Re: This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG] [Slice of Life]
Yeah, I like Christine Love's "Digital: a Love Story" and "Analogue: A Hate Story" which have love stories with a protagonist of undefined gender. The characters you pursue are defined (all as female), but that flexibility is nice. In my other project too, there's a main characte...

Re: [UPDATED DEMO] This Is Not A Game [Sci-fi, Mystery, Roma
Woohoo! Minor updates to the demo: I've edited some of the writing, condensed a chapter, and most importantly... the demo's file size has been cut in half! (Please don't have bugs, please don't have bugs...) It's still not perfect -- the GUI needs a lot of work -- but I want to finish Act 2 before I...

This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG] [Slice of Life]
http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8qdjcvDnv1qzp88so1_500.png In Sapporo East High School, there are many students, and each of them are special, but three students in particular cross paths over the course of a night. This isn't, however, a love story. Sapporo East is one of the top high schools i...

Re: Trapped [KN - 2 in 1][Paranormal/Mystery]
Not until I just looked at your profile and saw "Romania" did I realize that English might not be your first language. Haha, I would never have guessed so from the writing in the game itself! You're a very careful editor, I'm guessing; the writing is far above-average for a VN.

Re: [Group Play 10] Trapped
Haha, I won't write as much as I did in the game's thread, but I have to admit: for something made in three days, it's quite solid. I like the idea of random endings for a VN. I played through two times without having read the introduction, so I was confused at first, but I think it's a clever way o...

Re: Trapped [KN - 2 in 1][Paranormal/Mystery]
So, first of all, I'd like to congratulate on you on an original KN. Your KN is dripping with atmosphere and emotional effect, and that's only a good thing. The writing, too, is (for the most part) solid. While the ending -- and I'll get to that later on -- suffers some severe flaws, and some earlie...

Re: Terminal Love [Aromantic] [Flash VN]
Chiming in to support any VN that explores non-Japanese high school environments; the neat-looking GUI and the irreverent AI only add to the appeal. As Saguaro said, however, with few additional screens and excerpts, it's hard to make much of a comment. Of course, the visualizer alone gets my attent...

Re: [UPDATED DEMO] This Is Not A Game [Sci-fi, Mystery, Roma
Do you see the problem? that is one sentence, and it's even written between parentheses! I can't read this without going insane. What's worse is that after six or something lines between parentheses the first sentence before them just continues... on a new paragraph? How does that even work? ^^; Ha...

Re: [UPDATED DEMO] This Is Not A Game [Sci-fi, Mystery, Roma
@saguaro: Thanks, haha, but on my first demo I received a sadly small number of downloads. Then again, it wasn't much of a demo; this NEW demo, though, is way more worthy of getting posted online. I am definitely happier with a more concrete protagonist and developed plot, though the writing toward...
