Yes OK, but the != operator always worked in the last 10 years (since when I'm using Ren'Py in practice lol), so if this is a change in how Ren'Py handles the != , then would break all past games :shock: so I suppose is not that way it should work ?

I think the menu are broken now. I have config.menu_include_disabled = True, so the button below should show but disabled.

Funny enough I started being indie more or less around 15 years ago. My only regret is not having discovered Ren'Py sooner! :)

I make sure to thank him in the credits screen of all my games because what he is doing is simply amazing. I've seen COMMERCIAL engine project being less updated/debugged/supported than Ren'Py!

I found another difference vs before. As you remember Pytom before I could do: default mainc="joshua" image i_pc = "[mainc]" and then in the game story use statement like: show i_pc uniform1 sad and it worked. Now, it doesn't work anymore. So I'm guessing that change you did got lost in the update? ...

It seems the Amazon build is bugged. I tried to rebuild it, uploaded to Amazon but says 0 supported devices. The API target level is correct. So my guess is that the current Ren'Py "somehow" builds broken Amazon builds! :O

Having issues trying to build for Android again :( the build succeeds and it starts, but it remains stuck on the loading screen forever. Unfortunately with this new device USB debugging doesn't work so I can't even used logcat ! Anyone else has such issue? EDIT: Lol nevermind, if you build with the ...

What does this means: "Transforms that are used once in a screen can now be defined inline.".
An example maybe? :) Also it's possible to set variables inside a screen means that what I was doing now works? like using $foo=True inside a screen would set that variable? thanks

I'm not sure if it's a mistake on my part but I'm getting an error doing this in a screen:

    default Einfo = False
    key "c" action ToggleScreenVariable("Einfo")
    
when I press C key, I get an error "Keyerror: u'Einfo'"
I think it should work as I coded it ?

I updated and I get a strange behavior. If I launch the game, starts normally. If I try to build Android or do "force recompile" I get the red error message "make sure the game launches normally bla bla". Cool, I'll give it a try,especially for Android since my game was completely removed/censored from Google Play and I have to resubmit it as new app, will do the full process :)
