Re: Ren'Py 7.1.3 Released

I found another difference vs before. As you remember Pytom before I could do: default mainc="joshua" image i_pc = "[mainc]" and then in the game story use statement like: show i_pc uniform1 sad and it worked. Now, it doesn't work anymore. So I'm guessing that change you did got lost in the update? ...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.3 Released

It seems the Amazon build is bugged. I tried to rebuild it, uploaded to Amazon but says 0 supported devices. The API target level is correct. So my guess is that the current Ren'Py "somehow" builds broken Amazon builds! :O

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.3 Released

Having issues trying to build for Android again :( the build succeeds and it starts, but it remains stuck on the loading screen forever. Unfortunately with this new device USB debugging doesn't work so I can't even used logcat ! Anyone else has such issue? EDIT: Lol nevermind, if you build with the ...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.2 Prereleased

What does this means: "Transforms that are used once in a screen can now be defined inline.".
An example maybe? :) Also it's possible to set variables inside a screen means that what I was doing now works? like using $foo=True inside a screen would set that variable? thanks

Scripter needed for future project(s)

I need a "scripter" for some upcoming projects. Basically, if you know how to use Ren'Py interactive director, that's it, though at least some knowledge of Ren'Py basics would probably be preferred. The text and graphics are ready, you would only need to place them on the screen (I will review every...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.1 Released

I'm not sure if it's a mistake on my part but I'm getting an error doing this in a screen:

Code: Select all

    default Einfo = False
    key "c" action ToggleScreenVariable("Einfo")

when I press C key, I get an error "Keyerror: u'Einfo'"
I think it should work as I coded it ?

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.0 Prereleased

I updated and I get a strange behavior. If I launch the game, starts normally. If I try to build Android or do "force recompile" I get the red error message "make sure the game launches normally bla bla". Checking errors.txt in the game folder I saw: I'm sorry, but errors were detected in your scrip...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.0 Prereleased

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.0 Prereleased

Republished the game it was removed with the new version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.winterwolves.bionicheartdemo (had to censor a girl in bikini... lol). If anyone want to try and confirm the IAP works (no need to buy of course, you can just tap and see if the purchase window...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.0 Prereleased

Updated to the latest pre-release, again the memory bug. I would really suggest Pytom to put a value like: -Xmx512M in the gradle.properties, since even people with 16/32Gb won't be able to create an APK with higher values (and honestly it doesn't change anything, it's not like the build is slower?)...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.0 Prereleased

I think I remember before Ren'Py was automatically signing them all with the Android key (android.keystore). I remember in the RAPT bin folder being two different APK, unsigned, and signed (I'm 99% sure of this). I don't think you can publish an unsigned APK on Google Play anyway?

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.0 Prereleased

The apk produced now though are "unsigned". The filenames are like:
com.winterwolves.bionicheartdemo-10208-armeabi-v7a-release-unsigned.apk
while before I think they were correctly signed? I need to sign them manually ? (I don't think) thanks!
