It sounds dynamic but not too distracting which would be a problem when you have to concentrate on strategy (it's a battle theme, right?). There's an epic side to it as well without being obnoxious. I like it!

A brand new sprite for a character that only shows up once XD



I just need to finish two sprites and 2 CGs that appear in chapter 1 and it will be available for beta testing \o/

Yeah, you're right, but in the end, reading everyone's criticism helped me a lot: it's easier to create a feeling of dread and horror when you make suffer characters the player grew attached too. Writing some of the endings is actually hurting my soul right now...

So I've been working a lot on the backgrounds and luckily for me, I received helpful tips and advices from a friend of mine. I think it's much better now, even if it took me about twice as much time than the previous ones. ^^

But isn't taking others' input important too ? If my game is only enjoyable for myself, won't that count as a failure ?

Wow, both the art and the story are great ! o___o It sounds like something I would really enjoy to play, that theme is very interesting.

I didn't meant to make it sound like the whole story goes "life is PAIN and everything is pointless" ! XD It's just that it deals with quite a few sad/triggering topics and I didn't want anyone playing it unknowingly... Game related news : had to rewrite a huge chunk I didn't like anymore....
