Re: Starry~Sky series translation...?
If I remember correctly I believe JAST said that there were problems with the voice actors license? That either they couldn't obtain it or it was too expensive I don't remember. I'm not sure if they're still trying to work something out or if they just dropped it. Yeah I think it might be difficult ...

Re: A facebook for your game?
I think making a development blog for your game is a good idea. It helps to raise awareness, and it's easier to show progress. However I'm not to sure about it being on facebook... Is there a reason why you want it to be on facebook? Personally I think making a tumblr or wordpress/blogspot would be ...

Re: Modus Operandi [GxB] [Murder Mystery]
Ooh, I'm definitely subscribing to this topic! The art looks intriguing, and this is the first VN/otome game I've found that also includes mystery in it, my favorite combinations :) Just wondering, will it be G or PG rated romance? Thank you very much! :D We're not the only one on this forum, but I...

Re: Requesting critique of girl sprites
I actually looked a few times before I last answered and wasn't sure if you had already shortened the head. So it was just a little, after all :) You could try distorting it (squishing it down) instead of cutting away some part, then you could get away with minor corrections. But you should do it, ...

Re: Requesting critique of girl sprites
The eyes still seem a little low, but I think that might be because the hair is so high up. If you brought down the top a bit it would balance things out. I included a sample of what I mean. It should only take you a few seconds to do if you choose to. Everything else looks top notch though! :) Tha...

Re: Requesting critique of girl sprites
Based off of the size of her torso, I would recommend adding a little bit of meat to her arms. They look kind of spindly compared to the rest of the body. Also the features of the face feel a little low. You could probably move them up a bit and it would look good. Are you drawing the full body whe...

Re: Requesting critique of girl sprites
Hey guys! Sorry it took so long to do this, but I was busy with some things and couldn't work on this very much. But here's my latest attempt: Sayuri5.jpg I still struggle with the whole hourglass figure, and I feel the left arm still looks a little odd. But it's an improvement? Thanks in advance fo...

Re: Hakuouki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi licensed!
1-There's nothing wrong with with trying to draw in a wider audience. While otome games are usually aimed at girls, that dosen't mean guys won't play them. They just need an incentive to do so. In fact, it's a smart move to try and aim for a wide audience instead of just aiming for X and Y. If peop...

Re: Hakuouki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi licensed!
No, they're ports of the original PS2 games. Junsouroku being the port of the original Hakuouki, and Reimeiroku of thisBlane Doyle wrote:Junsouroku and Reimeiroku Nagorigusa aren't PS3 original titles? I thought they were... Huh.

Re: Hakuouki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi licensed!
I've never played Dynasty Warriors, but I liked the characters in the original game enough to buy and play this even if it IS bad. I think it is more that this is one of the newer games, possibly. There are multiple Hakuoki games (8, not counting the English releases) and I know other games have ga...

Re: Hakuouki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi licensed!
I had a few friends play the Japanese version, and heard that the system was pretty bad. Otomate's strength has never lied in their gameplay systems.... But who knows? Maybe it's not that bad. And I'm not against more VNs being licensed in English. But part of me can't help but feel that this is Aks...

Re: Modus Operandi [GxB] [Murder Mystery]
It sounds interesting from what I read. The art is good too. Good luck with the project. I'll be on the lookout for this game once it's finished. Thank you! Glad to have your interest :D This looks quite good! And as a graphic designer myself, I must say that is a fantastic logo! I love how the O i...
