Re: Save file location on Android?
Thanks, that makes sense. Where on the sdcard does it save to?

Save file location on Android?
Does Ren'Py store save files in a particular directory on Android, or is it somehow part of the APK? I noticed that I lose my data when I uninstall and reinstall the game, so I'm guessing it's the latter, but I wanted to make sure.

Re: Game not running on Android?
Awesome, thanks. Could you give us some details on what the bug was, in case it can be fixed on our end? We'd like to get the release out soon but it's not exceptionally urgent.

Game not running on Android?
I made an Android build of my game the other day, but it crashes after the presplash image on my phone. Here's the log: %s File "renpy/bootstrap.py", line 447, in report_exception File "/home/tom/ab/android/python-for-android/build/python-install/lib/python2.7/platform.py", line ...

Re: Sepia Tears
Okay, I've released a v1.1 that fixes (hopefully) all of the typos and adds a couple of odds and ends. Enjoy!

Re: Sepia Tears
Thanks for the replies! Let's see... Edit: Just where are you hosting this from? Downloading from EU here, but I'm hardly getting any feed. Could actually reupload this somewhere, put it to Desura or something, if you'd like. It's hosted on my shared Hostgator account, so probably somewhere in NA. U...

Disable click skipping for movies?
Can you make movies unskippable? I added a renpy.pause() after my ending vid but it seems the movie itself is skippable and the game just waits for a click with a black screen after that. Even if movies can't be fully unskippable, something like renpy.pause() would do since I'm mainly trying to avoi...

Re: Video won't play?
Okay, "progress": Ren'Py is probably recognizing my mp4 file, because it crashes when it tries to play the video.
Now I'm stuck. I'm not even getting an error message; just "pythonw.exe has stopped working"

Re: Video won't play?
Thanks for the reply. I tried adding the video code to The Question and it still didn't work so it probably has something to do with the video, but... hm. I re-encoded the source just to make sure it was XviD and it didn't work; then I exported an MPEG2 file from After Effects that also didn't work,...

Video won't play?
My game has an ending video that isn't working. I'm trying to disable clicking for the duration of the movie (I'll change the number later, I know), but it turns out the video itself isn't even playing. Here's a snippet of the script: $_game_menu_screen = None $ renpy.pause(2, hard=True) $ renpy.mov...

How to cite CC attribution?
I'm relying on some Creative Commons materials for one of my projects (specifically Photoshop brushes and sound effects), and I'm wondering how you're supposed to provide attribution to fulfil that requirement of the license. Are sites like freesound.org and brusheezy.com considered sources or are t...

Re: Looking for someone who can draw snow...
Hello everyone. I thought I'd drop by since I'm the director of this project, although I don't know much about graphic arts so I can't really help Mugen with this. Just thought I'd mention that if you do want to help, there's no chance of your input going to waste because the game is something like ...
