This seems like it would be a fun little short game. Unfortunately because the story is so simple, that's all I can comment on. The art is nice, too~

Hiddles: With the size of this thing, it'll never get finished unless I just sit here and bleeeeed script. Coding this thing is going to be a nightmare.

So I start making a GUI for my game, but then I got to a road block after I made the pause menu-- what else do I need? Is there a list any where of assets to create for a GUI? If not, let's compile one!

the reason I use GIMP now... it doesn't force my computer into a BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH mode. Usually it works fine for me, my computer just overheated because I forgot to prop it up on a box to ventilate it like I usually do, haha. My computer is terrible.
