Re: Music Showcase

Hello! Welcome to the forums.
It's nice to see more composers here. :)

I don't think your link is working, at least not on my computer.
I got it to work by removing the #.

Your music sounds good and I hope you'll find some projects to work on. :)

Re: LF someone to transcribe piano track in .PDF to .midi

Have you tried asking the composer him/herself for the MIDI files?
I would try that if you can't find anyone to help you. :)

Re: Kirroha's Random Miserable Music Attempts Thread

Nice playing. I like the sound of your piano. :D

The phone microphone sounds pretty bad and harsh/distorted, but it adds a nice effect.

Re: Newbie Musician makes songs to improve

I like it. :)
It reminds me of old video game music.

I don't know if adding reverb would make it better.
I like the dry sound of it, personally.

Swedish: 5/5
English: 4.5/5
Finnish: 4/5
Japanese: 3.5/5

I understand Norweigan a bit (it's similar to Swedish) but I can't speak it.
I'd like to learn Spanish, German, and Mandarin in the future.

I'd be interested in composing music as well, if there are any spots open.

Re: Music Creation: Hardware and Software

I didn't mean to imply that doing notation is useless. I guess it also depends on the DAW you're using, because the score editor in Cubase 5, for example, is really difficult to use. It's much easier to edit MIDI data (CC1, velocity, note lengths, etc.) in the piano roll editor. But again, do what w...

Re: Music Creation: Hardware and Software

I use Cubase 5 and I've got a M-Audio Keystation 88ES keyboard (88 keys is a must-have for me). Unless you want someone to play your music, I wouldn't worry about doing notation. I think it's less time-consuming and more effective to just record and/or use the piano roll editor. But if you enjoy doi...

Re: [VK] Background Designer and Musician Needed!

Hello, I'm a new member here.

Do you still need a composer? And what kind of music do you need?
I'd be willing to make music, if it's a genre I'm comfortable with. :)

Here's some of my music:

Thanks.
