Re: Passing control to a label via hyperlink?
Worked perfectly, thanks! An addition for anyone looking at this topic, the styling is pretty simple. Following the example given before you'd only need to either name a style "hyperlink" or replace "hyperlink" in return style.hyperlink with whatever you need. init python: style....

Re: Passing control to a label via hyperlink?
Sorry but, is there any function/value that would help me achieve that already included? Or do I need to create a special function for it?

Passing control to a label via hyperlink?
What the topic says. I'm trying to pass control of the game to another label after clicking a hyperlink. I found this old thread where they tried to do that, and the first solution works like a charm, but it also makes hyperlinks lose their style (You can still click them, but they look just like an...

Re: Drag n' Drop glitches when calling something animated
Alright, I will surely report if the problem persists after that comesPyTom wrote:Lets reset for a second, and wait for 6.18 PR1 to come out. Then you can tell me if you can repeat any of the problems there - it's hard to completely isolate fixes and backport them.

Drag n' Drop glitches when calling something animated
I left another report concerning drag n' drop , but I encountered a different issue. This one seems to come up when something is being dragged and a timer or something using ATL goes off, resulting in the drag (And in many cases the game itself) freezing. The following examples happened on a screen...

Re: Ren'Py Gripes
There's something that's been bothering me with Ren'Py for a while now, a game's performance drops significantly when playing windowed. There's no problem when playing in fullscreen, every trasition shows properly, the colors and fonts look crisp and there's no drop in the framerate. But playing in ...

Drag n' Drop glitches after using a Move() transition
If a screen is called and an action (Like Show()) shows a transition that uses Move() (Like vpunch), after that, if you try to use a draggable, it glitches and goes to the corner instead of moving normally (It should also be noted that it happens AFTER the transition occurs, before that the draggabl...

using renpy.transition() on a screen action [SOLVED]
I'm trying something simple. A screen where, whenever you press a keyboard key, it makes the screen shake, I did it using this: key "q" action [renpy.transition(vpunch), alltheotheractions] However, when I do this, whenever something is hovered or unhovered on that same screen. the whole w...

Saving the currently reproduced song in a music room
I'm giving the player the choice of what bgm to hear, to do that I included a Music Room in the game proper, this because even though you can create a list of songs with queue music with the Music Room it's easier to add the shuffle/repeat/etc functions, however, I stumbled across the problem that w...

Random Name Generator
I was messing around and I thought some could use this example. This code is to create a name out of a list of possible outcomes. It also serves as an example on how to use a list or classes/functions. init: #First we set up some variables: $ gen_name = "" #The name that will appear #Then ...

Re: Conflict when building distributions
Huh, I did another test and it didn't show up. I might have mixed up having spaces with another problem, my bad, sorry.
I still stand by my point that the spaces thing in the directory name can be a bit bothersome though...

Conflict when building distributions
This has happened a couple of times. The game doesn't have the distribution options in the options.rpy so it generates them. It usually adds to the options that the directory name becomes [Project name] -[version]. BUT if you try to build the distributions with that, it throws an error saying that d...

Yep, that was it. I was actually going to edit the post to clarify that I was looking for a Nearest Neighbor Interpolation but you already replied.
Thanks, Asceai!

Getting rough edges in sprites
I've been trying to emulate Pixel Art with my sprites, so I made them small and tried enlarging them with Ren'Py commands, but anytime I try that, Ren'Py smooths the edges of the images (Both, at the edge of the image itself and on the edge between colors). I can see the use of this, but I want to t...
