Re: Artist for Hire! (OPEN!) (Sprites, CGs)
"(I can draw masculine people I promise)" I checked through all of your Tumblr portfolio and the gallery on your website, but your Pixiv link just led to an error message. Anyways, I looked all over for masculine characters, just saw a few male ones - nothing particularly manly and beefca...

Re: Artist Mentorship
I'd love to join a Skype art discussion/critique group! What a nice idea. I hope I can be involved when it's ready!

Re: I DRAW SPRITES: CRITIQUE/ HELP ME IMPROVE!?
And as for working too much on something: I don't think you should be alarmed at how you work. The time it takes to work on one piece is a work-in-progress in itself, just as your style is and all that. If you want to lessen the amount of time it took you to do this, find shortcuts, or combine a fe...

Re: I DRAW SPRITES: CRITIQUE/ HELP ME IMPROVE!?
Your coloring style is really nice! It seems like you've got your shading and colors down for the most part. and it's pleasant to look at. Her hair especially is pretty! For critique stuff, MaiMai did a good job covering the anatomy so I won't go into that. I am curious about your painting method --...

Re: Artist for Hire! (OPEN) (Sprites, CGs)
I'd like to recommend Ezri! Her work is top-notch and exceeds my expectations. The communication between us was excellent, and sent out progress and completed works within a reasonable time frame. Oh, and she's willing to listen to any questions and concerns you may have. I'd like to hire her again...

Long time no see, everyone! I'm happy to say that commissions are open again, and I've updated my first post with more recent examples.

Re: Have chords, wrote melody, sonds atrocious
Good luck learning how to compose! I'm not much of one myself, but I can play a couple instruments and am classically trained. It's good that you know what you do already, but from how it sounds I definitely think you'll have to do a little more reading. I don't have any recommendations for that off...

Re: How can I stop making sexist games?
I haven't played any of your games yet so I can't say whether your works are inherently sexist or not, but I would advise taking such inflammatory criticisms with a grain of salt. As for writing better female characters, I don't think you neccesarily have to write them any differently than ma...

Re: Artist for Hire! (OPEN) (Sprites, CGs)
Hi Ezri, do additional outfits/expressions carry over between poses, or would they need to be re-commissioned? eg. If I commissioned a sprite with 3 outfits and 5 expressions, then I wanted to add another pose, would I need to pay for the outfits and expressions twice? Edit: Oops, didn't realize ho...

Re: Truefaiterman's Art [Looking for feedback]
Your art is really impressive! The one thing I would suggest is to try using more saturated colors in your shadows. The last piece in your latest post does a really good job of this so it might not be as much of an issue lately, but in others like the one of the P5 protagonist the shadows are more b...

Re: RPG Gamemaker Reccomendations?
VX Ace is the latest version and the only one I've used. I got it with XP (and either 2000 or 2003? I don't really remember) in a Humble Bundle a while back, but I haven't tried to use the older versions yet. I've found Ace pretty easy to use and there are lots of tutorials and resources for it, so ...

Oh gosh, that's horrible! Sorry that happened to you ;; . It's a shame all your projects have to go on hold, not to mention all the other stuff. Good luck, and I hope things get better for you soon!
