Re: Calling All Newbies?
The basic premise seems pretty interesting (the dialogue towards the end could use some work, but one thing at a time), but there are a couple of things that don't make much sense: 1. Why would a picture lead anyone to the conclusion that said picture was a picture of the person carrying it? While M...

Re: Chaos Gateway (Xbox 360)
I've been wanting to check this game out since you posted about it months ago. (Actually, I PMed you regarding the beta test, to which you responded that you'd let me know when it was available, but that was the last communication...) Anywho, I would love to check it out...but I don't have an XBox 3...

Re: Should you be allowed to Rollback after decisions?
Conversely, where's the harm in letting the player roll back to pick a different option if they accuse someone who isn't the culprit? For me, my immersion would be completely destroyed if I could rollback right after choosing the wrong culprit. I am with Chensterrain on this: like in another other ...

Re: Video Annoyance
Just thought that I would let you know that Media Player Classic is the ONLY player I could get to play that video properly. It played for a few seconds (sans sound) in Real Player, then froze...sort of. The bar was moving oddly, but nothing was happening in the video. It wouldn't play in VLC at all...

Re: Should you be allowed to Rollback after decisions?
I believe that, in some instances at least, the ability to rollback and change a decision truly and near inarguably does detract from the gameplay. For instance, in Animamundi: Dark Alchemist, all of the choices or timed. If you could just rewind and choose a different option, that would completely ...

Re: Should you be allowed to Rollback after decisions?
- Firstly, it's not true of all "professionally released commercial games", since I'm pretty sure some of Jack Norton's games allow it at the very least. By 'professionally released', I was referring to games not created by indie studios. And, I also specifically said 'games that I'VE pla...

Re: Should you be allowed to Rollback after decisions?
All of the (professionally released) commercial games I've EVER played did not allow rolling back to change a decision. They did, however, allow rolling back to see what decision you made. With that said, I do not like the option to rollback and change a decision. In my opinion, it takes away from t...

Hmm.
I would say that you are already well on your way.
While I could lie and say that this simulator is more than capable of converting someone...ugh...good into a villain, and feel no regret in doing so, the truth is that this simulator is more likely to draw out one's dormant villainous nature.

Higurashi no Naku Koro niBut with artwork as adorable as what you've drawn, it's probably a bit too downbeat an idea.

Re: Production Cost of Commercial VN (made with Ren'Py thus
Hmmm, it highly depends on how much you are paying right? If you are paying say 100 dollars a piece, I agree. If you are paying for merely 10 dollars, then it's a bit too much to ask, right? That's like going to street stand and asking for service quality of a high class restaurant. More likely tha...

Re: Production Cost of Commercial VN (made with Ren'Py thus
I have it the other way around. A person make a request from me in DA (request, not commission, so I do it for free). I made the pics, everyone seems like it, that person seems like it. So everything alright? No, that person wanted a slight change in skin color. OK, why not? Only a minor color adju...

Re: Production Cost of Commercial VN (made with Ren'Py thus
Speaking of which, I have heard lots of people with problems getting arts from the artists despite they already paid. Ah, yes, I have encountered a similar problem. I've paid upfront for artwork in the past, and while the artist did complete the artwork, they did not complete it in the way that I a...

Re: [Artist Needed] How to Be a Successful Villain
I would apologize for my long absence, but, quite frankly, you should all be thankful that I've graced you with my presence at all. (Lesson 4: You are always right, period. Words like "sorry" and "regret" do not exist in your vocabulary and should be avoided in any and all circum...
