Re: What is your favourite dere type?
Mayadere I have to look into this. Seriously, all these new -dere types have been popping up, and I don't think anyone can keep track of them all. Mayadere sounds exceptionally interesting, though. I get the impression that some characters who are mistyped as yandere are actually mayadere, even tho...

Re: The Silent Column [thriller, drama, mystery, spiritual]
Oh, hey, a VN with a character named Amy. Wait, that isn't the important part, is it? The important part is that it's being made by someone with a Lain avatar- No, that's not it, either. Ahem. The story sounds very interesting, like colliding fragments... The characters, too, look like they each hav...

Re: Yandere in 100 Words (creepy romantic short stories)
*raises hand* Trust me, I've read creepier things than these. Good, good. These aren't horror stories, honest! They're just... Yandere. People keep calling them creepy, though. ^^; Oh yeah, I promised a review, didn't I? Well...I haven't finished reading all of them (I started, then stopped due to ...

Re: Yandere: Love Me Or I'll Kill You [Modern, Horror]
Wow, yandere. Lots and lots of yandere. (It seems particularly interesting to see how a conflict between two different yandere girls would play out.) I'm not sure how much I'd be able to contribute to this project - I'm sort of trying to make 4 VNs at he moment - but I'll be watching every step of t...

Re: Yandere in 100 Words (creepy romantic short stories)
Thank you so much for the stories, I really enjoyed them, my favourite being Forgive, Spell and Counting. I now so want to add a yandere character to my own project... I also liked Secret, but the last bit "or I will have to seal your leaps" seems excess, as this part is clear without say...

Re: Research Topics
I'm working on learning Lojban, though, because there's something I want to use it to write. We should bring more conlangs to visual novels. We should! >:3 Do you think a simple language like Toki Pona is likely to help increase immersion in visual novels by making it easier to handle typed-in resp...

This is an incredibly cute idea <3 I actually want to get this game just to make a cake for her now.
...But I suppose I'd better play Analogue first ^^;

Re: My writing and poems - please leave your thoughts!
I agree with Talann's grammatical corrections. Aside from that, this poem is very clear and direct, apart from the third stanza, which is a bit awkwardly phrased. What did you mean by it? If you incorporate this into a story, it could make a very powerful scene. ;) It looks like it contains a story,...

Re: What is your favourite dere type?
Oh, I know Bungaku Shoujo, though I've never read the light novels since the English translations are freaking expensive and the originals a bit too hard for me. As for said character, I thought she was okay, but definitely didn't like her. I'm even more convinced now that there are "factions&...

Re: Upcoming movies you're looking forward to?
Kat and I are looking forward to Ender's Game. It's also an adaptation from a book that must be one of the most interesting, engaging and powerful that I've ever read.
Aside from that, I, uh, don't really watch movies. ^^;

Re: Yandere in 100 Words (creepy romantic short stories)
In some stories the shorter the better though, it makes thing ambiguous and you start to wonder and guess what actually happened in your own perspective xD <3 I love ambiguity myself - it leaves the most potential in the story, not forcing you to pin too much down, just enough to direct the imagina...

Oh, hey, another quiz! Loli/Shota: 4 Tsundere: 4 Yandere: 4 (I'm not doing this on purpose! Really!) Kuudere: 5 Dandere: 5 ...Well, uh, exceptionally balanced, apparently. On the subject of why people like yandere, there's a thing I wrote 3 years ago on why I like it. (I find it a bit embarrassing n...

Re: Top Anime Movies?
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Kara no Kyoukai yet. It's a series of 7 movies, adding up to about 10 hours, and in that time it tells a memorable tale of tragedy, romance, and the best and worst of humanity. It has beautiful visuals (courtesy of ufotable, which you may have heard of from Fate/zero...

Re: What kind of Anime/Otome Character do you like ?
Huh, almost all my favourite characters either a) are Bernkastel, or b) remind me of Bernkastel. I've tried to hunt down and watch all anime in which a character has Bernkastel's hair. ^^; Then again, I'm also partial to characters like Akemi Homura/Otonashi Aya/Emiya Kiritsugu - those who coldly wo...

Hell girl also has some beautiful songs ( Mamiko Noto is too amazing!) Agree 1000% :3 I expect most of us have at least heard Aizome. It's also one of the few songs I know off by heart. Soundtrack-wise, I like Haibane Renmei's. It's very unique, for an anime soundtrack, and warm, cosy, gentle... Th...
