Re: Frailty -Broken Wings- [GxB]

Sorry guys! I've been working really slowly on the art with the school term, but rest assured that this project is still on-going.

Re: Frailty -Broken Wings- [GxB]

One thing I can mention, and I'm not sure if anyone else has said something yet is about the eyes. I realise that this is concept art and not finished, so you might be intending to add this later, but right now the eyes are a little starry because they lack highlights. A couple white spots would re...

Re: "Sonder" Looking for Artists, Musicians (Unpaid)

Hi! Pirate_affair sorta told me about Sonder and I got inclined to read up more.. I'm interested to join the team! I'm capable of working with all said above, or even to doing BG/CGs as support for your other artists. Please have a look at my art and decide what's best for your project.. but because...

Re: Looking for a background artist (paid)

Hi!
What kind of genre is your game in? Could you please describe whether it is a fantasy/realism, medieval/modern/futuristic game and etc.. it's even better if you're able to summarize your visual novel's plot & setting so we know what kind of art style you're looking for (;

Thanks!

Re: Frailty -Broken Wings- [GxB]

Hi guys! I felt like rambling a lot little regarding the character designs c: When the project was just launched by Kait, I was quite taken to her characterization & plot.. I could really visualize what the characters looked like already from their motivations and personalities. However, I pitch...

Re: Ramlend [fantasy/mystery]

So Amnesia's game used cutscenes as well... Didn't know that. Still, I can't say for otome games, but among male-targeted VNs animated cutscenes are nearly nonexistent. Though I can't commit myself at this point (and the game probably isn't in this stage yet anyway), I'd love to gain some experienc...

Re: Ramlend [fantasy/mystery]

The story looks really promising, even if it didn't have animated cutscenes which is AWESOME. The only VN I can recall that did that is School Days, but well... It sucks. While I loved the Atlus style-shaded sprite on the first page, your normal style is also very pleasing to the eyes. This is defi...

Re: Frailty -Broken Wings- [GxB]

I think I'm just echoing a lot of other people here, but the art is really wonderful. Can't wait to see what will come out of this. Also, I really like the font that you guys used for the character's names; mind telling me the name of that font? The character names were hand-written in photoshop, b...

Re: How do you animate?

What free programs are there? Do you have to draw second by second? For 2D hand-drawn animation (your frame-by-frame drawing), you can try Pencil which is an open-source animation program . However it doesn't render in Ren'Py supported formats so you need to get a free video converter along with it...

Re: Ramlend [fantasy/mystery]

Sometimes the hardest thing for an artist is to find his own voice.. I'm still developing the look and feel of this project, not sure where it'll go eventually. I made a sample scene, painted closer to my natural style because that cell-shade thing for the sprite was done out of impulse then. Do we ...

Re: Square- Four Sides of a Shape.

-For a story like this, is it better to proceed with Christopher's point of view alone or provide viewpoints from another person? -should there be any romance at all, since the plot seems so unfacilitating for that romance? -what the hell of a genre is this? ;w;/ I found the premise to be really co...

Re: Recruiting: Character Artist/Partner for Sci-fi/Thriller

Hi! Sci-fi/thriller genre caught my eye.. My portfolio can be found here http://mckysuu.daportfolio.com I'm an undergrad living in Singapore(UTC +8) so the issue of being around at the same time for chat might pose an issue.. However I'm interested in joining even as a guest artist or concept artist...

Re: Ramlend [fantasy/mystery]

The VN in general isn't going to get too technical in the aspect of archaeology, nor is it going to be an 'archaeological' game in that sense. I could call it tomb-raiding and not affect the storyline, the main plot revolves around the secret of the ruins and the people who do something about it.. h...
