Free Public Domain and Creative Commons Music
The Mod Achive provides a lot of free tracker based music: http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_license&query=publicdomain Just change the license to the one you need and try out the music. You'll need a player that supports it to listen to it. On Windows I use Winamp , but it should ...

Re: Voice Packs (Weekly Updates)
Finally somebody that sees the humour in having their voice featured in an 18+ game. I still want to find a way to make my voice sound more feminine to maximize this effect

Re: List (or filter) of visual novels by quality?(DIWIC?)
In arguments like this I always point to Quantity Always Trumps Quality . If your intention is to produce a 'quality' game, then it will be lost in development hell. If your intention is to produce a lot of games, regardless of quality, you will eventually start producing better games (through trial...

Re: Rising Angels: Reborn
how expected it was that Stan was the main bad guy. Hmm devil horns, shady character, says assholish things... gasp, he's actually a bad guy?! I was hoping the whole time he was simply a red herring. Though it was a bit nice that he some human motives, but still. According to KomiTsuku, Stan is act...

Re: Free Uploader Sites
Like you'd use more than 10Gb of bandwidth in a month... Also the file size can be bigger if you use the client rather than the website to upload.
Good to know that you spend time disproving parts of my statement rather than adding anything productive to the discussion.

Re: Free Uploader Sites
I'm sorry, but a two mirror rule will be a pain in the ass for big games - especially in countries like mine where we pay for our data usage. Rather recommend services like box.com (who everybody seems to have forgotten) that doesn't limit size and bandwidth or appoint people who's express purpose i...

Re: Free Uploader Sites
I use box.com and I've had no problems with it. You have to register to upload and they respond quickly to reported files. The only feature that might annoy people is that they email you when your file gets downloaded. There's probably a way to turn it off, but I haven't bothered finding it. I've be...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
I agree with Tricks. Some people need to lose everything before it registers in their thick skull that they may be wrong. My fall came while I was living in a new town, with few friends and a girlfriend that was just using me as a boy toy (she was 6 years older than me). I just lost my job, my mothe...

Applegate: Write. Don't censor yourself and just write whatever comes to mind. Don't stop to fix grammar, spelling or wording - you can do that later. Just keep going. Eventually you'll get your flow back. Don't wait for inspiration or motivation - make your own instead. Armee: Take it from somebody...

Re: No Longer Interested In Renpy
Have you seen Time Labyrinth? It's a dungeon crawler with VN elements. Have you ever played Seven Mysteries? It's an JRPG (made with RPG Maker) with VN elements - it's simple and it's crap scary to play. What does that tell you? It's not the engine that limits the game, but the author of it. Great g...

Re: Honest Critique
I think we should be careful not to mistake Brutal Honesty for Honest Critique. Brutal Honest is normally a negative opinion intentionally biased against a person, concept, or group. It's like dealing with somebody you don't like - nothing they do will ever change your opinion of them and you may ju...

Re: No Longer Interested In Renpy
Lemmasoft forums isn't just for Ren'py and it's been around long before Ren'py even existed. You are pretty much giving up on the VN focused communtity for a generic game engine forum. I've done generic game engine forums and all I can say is that your giving up a lot for a place that may leave frus...

Re: What is your type?
The general term for it is Cold Reading. I think that the assessment that we're looking for all traits is wrong. We're looking for people with similiar or complementing traits. The other traits should be atleast toleratible. I'd still expect atleast one deal breaker trait or expectation. If you can ...
