I'm surprised at the number of people who know at least a bit of French :O @Didules, I think French is very handy for debate, essays and poetry because it is a complex and rich language with lots of nuances and concepts. However, I think it is overly complicated for everyday usage......

It depends on the tone of your novel but your characters can still be sympathetic without necessarily being likeable, as said in this video.

Actually I won't participate either mostly because I plan to use Unity since I'm more familiar with it and C#. So I'll dedicate this month into finishing a (rough) custom engine Orz
