Re: Ren'py on Ubuntu 16.04 / arm64?

It's running on a Samsung Tab S4, but Linux on there is only in beta at the moment, so I guess it's not a shock that it's not supported. Thanks for the reply, PyTom!

Ren'py on Ubuntu 16.04 / arm64?

I have zero understanding whatsoever of Linux, so apologies if this is an idiotic question! I downloaded the latest release of Ren'py and attempted to run the renpy.sh file, but got the following: Ren'Py platform files not found in: /home/dextop/renpy-7.3.2-sdk/lib/linux-aarch64 Please compile the p...

The narrator is defined in an init block, with a bunch of other characters.

[Solved] Name box during transitions?

I've had to update my game, last edited in Ren'Py 6.12.1 (eek!) to the latest version of Ren'Py recently, and have run into a bit of a snag - while previously using 'window show' would keep both the textbox and name box up during transitions, it's now causing the name box to disappear each time. My ...

Re: RPG Battle Engine - Alpha 7.5, downloads in first post

On one hand, it seems at face value like that offers the most flexibility... on the other hand, since the user can't change things like the battlemechanic through script, I don't know if people are ever going to want to change things like the displayed stats either! I'm one of those people! If it's...

Ooh, yes! I remember loving the demo for Starlit Dreams back in the day, so I'm really glad you're carrying on with this. The writing and artwork look fantastic, and customisation yesss~ :D Demo please!

Re: Japanese Language Proficiency Test

I took the N2 back in 2010 and just about scraped a pass - it didn't help that I guess most of the kanji I studied were possibly from the old 2kyuu exam, since pretty much none of them showed up on the day, hurr. I can't say I ended up using the qualification for anything, but it's nice to have! I'd...

Re: Visual Novel Let's Plays

I think I'd die happy if someone LPed Lucky Rabbit Reflex. ;_; I also discovered that forum about a week ago and spent a few hours going through the Let's Plays - I even bought a couple of games after reading some of them (only very cheap Android otome games, but still), so I'd definitely say they c...

The game seems to run fine on my 2.3.3 Galaxy SII now, yay! (though I haven't played all the way to the end).

Re: Ripples - Android Testers Wanted

The game doesn't seem to run at all on my Samsung Galaxy S II, I just get a black screen for a few seconds before the game crashes completely. I'm running android 2.3.3, if that helps.

Re: Lucky Rabbit Reflex! (GxB Dating Sim, Commercial)

I'm glad the order went through in the end! I'm on a semi-hiatus at the moment because of my day job, but I started work on another dating sim a few months back and I'd like it get it finished at some point this year if I can. Fingers crossed! :D

Re: Lucky Rabbit Reflex! (GxB Dating Sim, Commercial)

Really sorry for the late reply, I haven't had internet for a while. Did your order get through okay in the end? If it didn't, please feel free to pm me, I haven't heard anything from BMT Micro so I'm guessing everything's okay?

Sorry again! :(

Re: Renpy Date Simulation Engine - The Game

It won't run for me either, I get an error message saying that 'the application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way' when I try to run it... :(
