Re: Winter Bliss~meeting you~ [short KN][otome][non-voice ve

There's a problem with the game, just like what kara24601 had said. I enjoyed it! The art, story and everything is just amazing! Though, why did you let Ann died. I know she'll die sooner or later, but why married to someone else? That made me cried TT_______TT http://i1270.photobucket.com/albums/jj...

Malicious virus?

I'm not sure if this happens to any of you and just to be sure I wanted to ask, did this ever occur to any of you when you've downloaded some game and when it's done it says "malicious file" keep or discard. Not every game has this problem but here are a few games that stated malicious fil...

I enjoyed playing this game! There is just a thing that I think you could change, the background music.

Re: Tips for a Beginner Creating Otome Game?

Okay, since I'm assuming that you already know what direction you're going to be taking your game in then, figure out what needs to happen in the coding and break it down into steps with a single task. For example... I. Learn to display the writing ...1. Learn to display dialogue in the game. ...2....

Re: Tips for a Beginner Creating Otome Game?

Don't be overly ambitious, especially since this is your (probably) first game! With a lot of ideas, comes a lot of work. And yeah, play some/tons of otome games so that you can see what makes an otome game an otome game, etc. I've played lots of games before deciding to make my own. The thing that...

Re: Affection point?

Some of the answer to that question is a coding one...which is pretty easy to answer. Here is one way to do it. # The game starts here. label start: #declare all the variables for your game $ betty_points = 0 $ veronica_points = 0 "Who will Archie find love with?." #You set up your first ...

Affection point? (SOLVED)

I saw some other codes such as
Point = 0 and so on
But how do you use it? As in how do you apply it in each and every choice.
Also in the end after all the points stuff how can I make it lead to the character that one should end with?

Re: Code Error

Well there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the code itself and if you were to put the labels in the script.rpy it should work fine. Which means there may be something wrong with the scenes.rpy file you made. Is that saved correctly and do you have the scenes.rpy file in the correct folder? I...

Re: IP BLOCKED?

It happens once in awhile especially if you are under an ISP that shares your IP address with 50 or more people... One good example would be Smart Broken (SmartBro Philippines) and I found out about this the hard way... I was banned on multiple sites, I cannot even download from Rapidshare and rela...

IP BLOCKED?

I do not know what happened but I was using my laptop and I can't post any question because my IP was blocked?
I'm currently using my computer and still at home. Is it because there's something wrong with my laptop thus it happened?

Re: Tips for a Beginner Creating Otome Game?

Hmm. As for drawing, study, study, study anatomy and the basics of drawing. As for coding in Ren'Py, here's a starter tutorial-- http://www.otome-games.com/index.php/make-your-own-otome-games/13-how-to-make-a-simple-otome-game?showall=&start=1 Advice..? Hmm. Maybe, keep it simple for your first...
