Our logo has been revamped (courtesy of Potouto)

Re: Mell's Sketch Thread [Requests: CLOSED]

Questions for feedback: - (new) What do you think is my stronger point? Drawing girls or drawing boys? - If I were to open a commission shop, what would you like to see offered in it? Would you be interested in these Clean Sketches as commission options as well? Both are equally good (I wanted to a...

Re: What makes a good VN logo?

Most VN logos are not supposed to establish a recognizable brand or be printed on wares of varying sizes and properties, the most people ususally want from them is to look pretty on a title screen or promo image. Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Hoyuu No, I don't think they clash. The textbox does look a little bit different because it doesn't have rounded angles like the screens do and because of the cityscape background that I don't see used anywhere else, maybe you could make it a bit more subtle, that'll probably help text readability ...

Re: Real SMS or mail features in a VN

You can get mail from characters in any of Voltage games (they ask you to input the address if you'd like to get them), some of these were pretty nice.

Re: "Create Imaginative Games" Coursera MOOC by CalArts

If you go to the separate course (the link provided was for the specialization consisting of several courses, here's the first one I believe https://www.coursera.org/learn/game-design ) you'll have an option to register without the certificate and it's free - I wonder if there're other differences e...

Re: Different artstyles, storytelling and commercial viabili

Yes, the sample looks good enough for me, including for commercial. I know you asked not to but that really depends on how you see your game, more art is not necessarily better, for me visual novel is a very stylized format that lets you concentrate on what's important - for the most part it's writt...

Re: Visual Novels and Monetization

Just wanted to say that there're plenty free otome games (I'd say more than those where you purchase routes), Voltage and Solmare (Shall We Date) both have them as well as many other companies that only do free ones. Re: Gallery pages

No, I defined the style alright. The problem is that using the gallery code all the gallery pages buttons are selected, not just the current page I'm on.
