Re: Bionic Heart - released!
It must be terrible for the developer and the co-workers to read such a devastating review like the one before. Having this good review now certainly corrects the negative feelings. So in the end you have two voices, one bad and one good, so this makes your game a controversial one which is a good t...

Re: Bionic Heart - released!
I mean the page at http://www.bionicheartgame.com/ . This is visually unpleasant. Quite on the contrary I like the http://www.tycoongames.eu/adventures/bionicheart.php site very much. A nice welcome with story, well formatted, graphics/screenshots, demo download and purchase option, everything there...

Re: Bionic Heart - released!
Great stuff jake, just bought your game. Now all I need is time to play it Wish you good luck and many many sellings.
BTW, IMHO your website could use some more graphics and eye catching elements. A little more information about the story wouldn't hurt too

Re: Surgery
I got a general anesthesia when I was a child, some teeth had to be removed. It was a funny experience. First I was full awake and saw the staff preparing everything and the next thing I remembered was that my mouth was full of blood and my mother had bought me a book to read me. If you're not too o...

Re: WIP - Heileen 2
11-12, ok, quite mature for their age, but girls aged faster the old days ;) Marie has them. Normally they start having these dimensions some years later, but I read somewhere, that the harder their life is, the quicker they develop to get out of house. It's called self-preservation. Funny how natur...

Re: WIP - Heileen 2
I think the proportions of the faces aren't kids-like. They are as pointy and sharp as for adults. Making them rounder and maybe smaller 'boobs' would help to really believe they should be children and not only sexy women disguised in children cloths. Do you you have any alternatives for the cursor ...

Re: Character thinking, not saying
Hmm, normally I like playing with what people think and actually say. But it's a novella for children and maybe I should simplify it.
I have an example children book for 6-7 year old children and there the narrator serves as a medium to what the main character thinks. Makes it easier to understand.

Character thinking, not saying
Hi, how do you handle a character that is not the narrator and doesn't speak aloud but thinking. Like: "Oh damnit, that's gonna hurt.", Lea thought, before she got struck buy a car. "Lea, are you ok?" "How would you like to be hit a car, asshole", came into Leas mind. &...

About Fonts
I am in the process of choosing a font. As this is going to be a commercial game I am wondering what kind of fonts would be best to choose. Either ttf or bmf. Is there a site with free commercially usable ttf fonts. I'm even thinking of creating a handwriting font. What about bmf fonts? Aren't they ...
