Re: how to spend $20k on your VN?
I think everyone has covered most of it but I just want to pitch in with how I personally budget. 1. Fix the budget 2. Plan the game, figure out how many assets I need (aka, what exactly I need in terms of art and music, down to a T.) 3. Start shopping around for people that a: fit the style I'm loo...

Re: commission prices for these artists...
I've taken a look though the lists and hate to say it, but I don't think any of them are open to commissions, and if they are, they'll be extremely expensive. The large majority of them are working on their own (fairly big) projects and generally won't have time for commissions. As a general rule of...

Intent is not the same as impact. That's why I am insisting it is, as to why am I focusing on it, I'm from the UK, a country that is practically ran by a class system, so classism is rafe here, I know what it can do to people. So I yes, I will *always* call it out online.

No. What I'd rather prefer is not to see classism on here.Taleweaver wrote:So LateWhiteRabbit, Caveat Lector and especially "shame on you" Rinima: Do you actually prefer a "polite" lie to an honest opinion?

Re: "I would totally play your game if I had the time and mo
Honestly, this entire post comes off as very judgmental. Not everyone has the spare cash for a cup of coffee. Not everyone has the spare cash for a game. Not everyone has a stable income and the exposable income to spend. Not everyone is "middle class and makes a decent wage". Some people ...

@trooper6 How have you not heard of That cheap and sacred thing? The other two fair game, I've not heard of them either XD I think Alistair++ is one most have heard of/was once very popular. I think Break chance memento is fairly well known as well. 2nd Cinders and Analogue: A Hate Story, you'd be h...

I'm just gonna say what I said last time. Please, try not to feed the troll. You know who I'm talking about. Lets keep this on topic people, I personally am actually rather interested in the original topic and would like to see it actively discussed rather that a massive steam attack, and I think th...

On tracing?
So, I saw a topic on here recently where the subject of tracing was touched on. Me being me, missed most of it, and since that particular thread was not an appropriate place to discuss tracing, I'm opening this one as a place that might be better to talk about the topic. So, what are people's opinio...

Re: [Unrevealed] [VN] [Nakige] [Memories]
You should start by describing what the game is about. We're interested in the plot and theme of the game as much as the setting and characters. Giving a short description of each of these helps us to get excited about your project. Good looking art so far, but as it stands, we have no idea what th...

I've been waiting for this game to appear on here for aggggggges! How exciting ^-^
1. Who doesn't love a good zodiac story? I know I do!
2. Probably Leaf. Rabbits are cute <3
3. not really, I assume we'll find out eventually.
4. Buttons and key chains would be pretty awesome.

This is something I'd also like to know, would they say, adapt their mentoring for someone with a learning disability for example?Caveat Lector wrote:What are the mentors like to work with? Do they use one general catch-all learning style, or adapt based around how much you already know or don't know?

@Morhighan
Just out of interest, what sort of things can we expect from this course? Other than the basics of what they've layed out, and is it enough content to justify £60?
@everyone else
