Re: Anyone know how to get rid of the box around my clock?

Huh, I'm sure I tried that before and it didn't work...
It was a query from a while ago ^^;;

Ah! Perfect! Thanks Xela, that makes a lot of sense :)

That's starting to look a bit more like it, think I need to adjust the text box size mind you... That I can do :P

In any case, thanks everyone! :D

Re: Anyone know how to get rid of the box around my clock?

Thanks for the reply, How would I phrase that exactly? "style.frame.background None?" And on the other question: So, I want to make the value of one flag the same as another, instead of writing: if flaga = 1: flagb = 1 elif flaga = 2: flagb = 2 etc. etc. Is there anyway to make this rather...

Anyone know how to get rid of the box around my clock?

Hi, so I'm getting some practice in by replicating some systems and functions (I find it pushes me further than what I would often go for, i.e. the simplest solution... Hence I'm here asking questions XD) ... I may use it for fan games in the future, who knows. Anywhoo, I'm re-creating Persona 3's G...

Fading textbox text, blinking arrows

These are all little aesthetic tid-bits I've been pondering about for a while, I always try searching to see if anyone's asked already, but 'ren'py text in textbox fade' and 'ren'py arrow in textbox corner' contain such general terms it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. I was wondering if...

Re: Simultaneous Transitioning

That's fantastic! That's exactly what I wanted, Thank you so much for your help. It's working perfectly.

Just out of interest, which portions would I have to modify in order to make the different directional transforms? (As in a matching up 'slidebothleft' 'slidebothdown' and 'slidebothup'?)

[Solved] Simultaneous Transitioning

I just had a new idea for a way to move around in a visual novel I'm designing. What I really need to do is to have two backgrounds simultaneously transitioning with two different pre-programmed transitions. With one background leaving the screen ( To the right for example ) as the next image is ent...

Re: Guestbook

Thanks, and yeah it's Bakuman, great series.
I'm always being told that myself and Takagi Akito have moments of being creepily alike, looks wise and behaviour wise, I was scrolling through pictures to use as an avatar and it seemed appropriate :P

Using an 'if' statement to check for a file?

I have an idea for a visual novel, but it's sort of consists of short episodic installments that I want to release gradually. Then I thought instead of releasing lots of seperate games, it would be a lot easier if these chapters could be an 'add-ons' to the initial release, for ease-of-use for playe...

Re: Guestbook

Hey there guys! Name : Mitchell Location : England Website : Hopefully soon! I've sort of been toying around with Ren'Py for a while now, figured it was about time I finally signed up and introduced myself.
