@Amberbaum - Wow, so many good thoughts here! I think a lot of your impressions about the various VN communities are correct. I agree with @That Oyajicon. I don't think it's frowned upon, as long as you're able to add your own touch to the photographs and make it blend with the rest of your game. (I certainly hope not, anyway, because I did it for one of my games :p )
