Sounds interesting, how much of the script/art do you currently have done?

Re: [Paid] Insindious Project Staff Recruitment - Re-Opened!

I am interested in both programming positions but would like to have a bit more information before I apply.
Is there any way to talk to you about the positions before hand either skype or pm?

Re: Newb Dev seeks Mentor

While I can't really help with Ren'Py, I do have a decent amount of experience with game development so feel free send me a message if you want any advice in general development or implementing more advanced features. Though I wouldn't recommend that for your first project.

Re: The Nexus Project is Now Recruiting! (Hacking, thriller)

I am rather curious about this project, specifically given the topic as it is a commonly used one in games but often done terribly as the people involved have no clue about how technology works (See all hacking games/movies ever). I have sent you a skype request if you wouldn't mind answering a few ...

Re: Coder, Assist. Artist, & VAs needed for Mystery VN

The comment you're quoting is explicitly stating that it is not closed... Sorry my wording may have been a bit off, but basically the title "Coder, Assist. Artist, & VAs needed for Mystery VN" is no longer accurate as We will no longer be taking any production team members for the pro...

Re: Guestbook

Hi all, I used to be semi active on here for a while and have found myself sort of trailing back in after getting an email about an old post being updated. So I am back o.o I am still a programmer but now working for Ubisoft Massive as a server programmer. I work on a couple of VNs during my free ti...

Re: What are your expectations on VNs with calendars?

If time is a part of the gameplay or something that is helpful to the story, as it in helps you tell the story better then you should inplement it. VNs are all about telling a story (with a few exceptions), if you have a feature you can implement that will help tell that story better then implement ...

Re: is recruitment possible...?

also you should run Qpython3 as it has support for python 3.x, you will probably want to avoid the C/C++ application unless you know how to handle memory, in which case it can give you a lot better performance but you will have to ditch Ren'Py

Re: is recruitment possible...?

"i have memorizied every indent/block there is..." not sure how this is supposed to help? even with python. Syntax is hardly ever the problem, its more a problem of it is easy to make a typo or silly mistake like variable++ instead of ++variable, even such a tiny difference can make a HUGE...

Re: [INSANE CODING] iios - Desktop Environment using RenPy

It sounds like you have basically tried to create a virtual desktop run on Ren'Py, if that is the case, my question is, why not just use C# or some other easly adaptable language?
Seems kind of like trying to use a spoon to dig to china, it can be done but don't see why you wouldn't just use a shovel.

Re: is recruitment possible...?

And yeah, i dont think that great of a VN can be done without a laptop This statement, I'm sorry but just no. You could make an amazing VN with just pen and paper, Can a manga not be great because it doesn't have an electronic copy? It is all about how much you are willing to put into the project. ...
