n0tgin's art (2019 remix)

Hi everyone. I haven't been on this forum since 2017... my first art post here was in 2015 and lots have changed since then, you can see that here . But this is just an update on what my art sort of looks like now, just a small piece as the rest is too huge to put into forum posts right now. I don't...

Stat-raising games!

Like the title says, this thread is about stat-raising games. Specifically, your favourites (or any that sound interesting/that you know of tbh, I love them!). I've played a good chunk of the ones available and am looking for more!

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Wow I haven't been here in ages... These are just some fun drawings, I haven't really gotten any CG art done in MONTHS.

Re: n0tgin's art thread [requests closed]

Wow... it's been a really long time since I've updated!! So here's a whole bunch of new art. I've been focusing on some pretty vanilla-technical stuff. This pile includes more fanart (some of K-Pop)...
These are mainly the works I liked the most!!

It's been a long time!
I've changed my icon so I'll post it's full-size version here, because I like this cute little design I did.

Re: sleepier & sleepier (Fantasy | Dreamworld)

Your GUI is fantastic as always!! Even if pastels aren't to my taste the art assets (GUI, sprites) presented are still top-notch. OK so for questions. 1. Do you like the feel of the game? What do you think about the plot? I'm not really into cutesy things and everything kind of has a dreamy feeling ...

Re: Kinghearth [BxB][Fantasy][Commercial]

AAHH HELLO I still look at your art now and then, it's so adorable <33 Thank you! I did draw a lot of inspiration and used his work for reference, though I didn't end up using his floral motifs as much since I don't think it would fit xD Aiden is a big baby already and if I added flowers this would...

Re: Kinghearth [BxB][Fantasy][Commercial]

Wow! I remember doing a request for you, but since I've had time to look through the thread more thoroughly I'm very impressed by the art assets! I especially like the art nouveau-esque style, from the 2nd post in the thread? The colours and linework are very smooth and "earthy" and the fl...

Re: Character with ambiguous gender or outright deceptive

Honestly, there are a lot of ways to write characters whose gender identity/orientation remains hidden. Ultimately you should do it if it fits your story best and you execute it well and not just randomly throw it in there for the sake of drama. Personally, I wouldn't care if that character turns ou...

So... these are adoptables... Well. They were adoptables, but nobody wanted them. Ah well. More to add to the portfolio then!
Oh, BTW, I'm open for commissions!

Re: What are the best ways to show multiple endings?

CG galleries are sort of an obvious way to show that there are missing bits in the game/story. Obviously there are other ways to show it! I'd like the idea, where after a route is completed the title screen might change (like have a new item added, see: Fire Emblem 13's barracks every time a new cha...

@Zelan
Thank you for the nice comment!

Anyway, I thought it's been a while since I've tried using bright colours/flats like I used to, so here's a blast from the past in terms of colour.

Re: n0tgin's art thread [requests closed]

I tried doing something that's closer to realism... Not sure if I succeeded but I really liked how this piece turned out. ^-^

I drew this when I saw a really cool jacket from H&M. I love doing detailed work sometimes, you should click on it to see it in fullsize!!
