To keep it brief: On the Why Ren'Py page , it says: There is no need to pay a fee to us or anyone else* to distribute your Ren'Py game. *Unless you use mpeg or mp3 support, in which case you're responsible for paying for the patent license. We don't recommend using these formats in commercial games....

Global variable(s) throughout the script
Hi. I was wondering if it were possible to have a global variable, a meter of sorts, in script.rpy. To be more specific, I want a variable the player can modify by making decisions (i.e. choice A giving +5 and chioce B giving +3). I'll then use this variable later on in the game, for example at the ...

Back again with another question! While generating translations for the common.rpy and screens.rpy is all fine, the script.rpy translation file is pretty annoying. The script is ordered by last modified, and not by the order of lines in the script, which makes it really annoying to translate at time...

Been messing around with Ren'py for a while and I think I finally got my head around it. Ah alright yeah, thanks. I fixed up the indentation and everything's working fine now. Also, I tried making the button thing, and it went into my preferences menu fine, but the boxes are greyed out and you can't click them in the game. Would anyone happen to know what's going on there?
