Whatever your personal preference, that's what it should be.

Re: Juggling writing along with a fulltime job

I've been out of school for several years without a full time job and I feel so bad about it. I feel like I don't deserve the free time that I have and guilty about working on creative projects while still being a dependent. You should feel good about holding your own, and you've earned that opportu...

Re: Networking: Making your project popular?

The biggest factor affecting notoriety that I have seen, on a consistent basis, that separates those who get a lot of attention from those who don't--is the amount of work you are producing and how often. Problem is, what am I to show off in a forum post withut spoiling the story? Sprites are done,...

There are people who don't do the social networking thing, but the amount they are able to prod...

Re: New Term for Visual Novels? [split]

I was actually anticipating that answer, to which I say, still (digital) screens, pretty much the same thing. But yeah, there are loads of different avenues to distribute these kinds of things.

Re: New Term for Visual Novels? [split]

Yeah, Flow Novel does not work, because all novels and narratives are supposed to flow. It would be like calling it a Structured Novel. Screen Novel doesn't sound too bad, but ah, I immediately thought of 'computer screen' novel at first, which works, in a sense? But I get the feeling you were tryin...

Re: New Term for Visual Novels? [split]

I think VN is already well established and can't be changed. However, I can imagine that kinetic novel writers might be a little dissatisfied with that term, as I am. I propose Screen Novel (not screen narrative, that would be film). I think it implies the visual and multimedia text aspects of it, w...

Re: Writing casual relationship

Has anyone mentioned the movie 500 Days of Summer? It has a complex perspective on a casual relationship.

Re: What makes a Kickstarter successful?

I wouldn't say that's necessarily true. Someone can be incredibly rude and true at the same time. When someone sees a badly drawn picture and says the anatomy's god-awful, it's unlikely they disliked it because of some irrelevant aspect outside of the drawing itself. Rather than ignoring your detra...

Re: Questions for artists //help

[qoute] "Oh my, I have to draw a proper work!" [/quote] Directionlessness, I had exactly that problem. Eventually i discovered this was my biggest barrier to being productive. The only proper work you should be thinking about is one that you know you really want to do. You should spend mor...

Need storyboard/composition artists or researchers [PAID]

Alright, I guess this is sort of an odd request. I'm not asking for someone to make completed works of art for me. I'm working on a Boy's Love project that I plan to write/illustrate. Hopefully with some help, as composition isn't exactly my specialty. ANYONE can pitch in! Non-exclusive It's about t...
