The main thing I notice that's a bit off about your art is the proportions, mostly the heads. The head sizes aren't very consistent and some of them look too big compared to the rest of the person's body, like in the picture with the brown haired guy and black haired girl. Probably a girl with long/short black/brown hair, are the common appearances of female sprites. :) As for male, black hair with good bangs is what my mind tells me. xD Japanese school uniforms are also very used around VN's, but be sure to include a normal civilian outfit. :) Thanks! ...

It looks like you're trying to hide the hands and feet on both of them. Don't be afraid to draw things you're not good at. How else are you gonna get better at them? As for the faces, they look kind of generic. I suggest getting a reference picture of a real face and the try to simplify the features...

For me, art and story in VN is pretty much 50/50. I've been playing a lot of mobile VNs lately, and while they do have good art, the stories/dialog are boring so I haven't been to interested in playing them much.
