Re: The Cask of Amontillado 1.0 Windows (and now Linux)
I have now tested the linux version of this and it works (using Vlocity, the 64 bit Vector Linux on a low to mid laptop). amontillado-1.0-linux.tar.bz2 It chugged along a little more slowly than I'm used to seeing due to a weak graphics card but there were no black squares on the screen or other gli...

Re: Revelation- biblical based but expected to be pretty gri
I will return to it eventually. I got busy in the day job and have been doing more work on my trial aid demo I began for NaNoReNo because I'll be needing that for an upcoming trial.

Trial Presentation Tool (visual aid management for trial)
Trial Presentation Tool (visual aid management for trial) The background images in this demo will mostly be fake documents because the real ones are protected under various privileges and cannot be revealed publicly at this time. (Think NDA protected.) Generic menu backgrounds can be the actual one...

Re: Revelation- biblical based but expected to be pretty gri
I'll still need to make "golden girdles" for my angels, but I got my seven trumpeters made. I am in the process of posing them and editing the generic pants meshes so no, um, parts poke through. I may buy Zbrush later this spring and if so everything gets sculpted much nicer. angel2wip1.jp...

Re: Revelation- biblical based but expected to be pretty gri
It appears that I will be able to use Python to keep tabs on where the player has been in the game so I can insert pop quizzes and make it interactive without asking things the player hasn't yet read. I guess maybe I should figure out how to make a scorecard. I've gone through and found all the word...

Re: The Cask of Amontillado- beta
Here is a Linux only distribution, basically so I can come back here on my Linux lab computer and download it for play testing. amontillado-1.0-linux.tar.bz2 I got it and got Ren'Py, though it took longer to figure out where Knoppix stashed them than it took to download them in the first place. I'm ...

Re: Revelation- biblical based but expected to be pretty gri
The two remaining plague vials and a trumpet for angels to sound.
Sorry. The code for a couple of these is too lengthy to appear on one screen. If anybody is ever interested, I will copy/paste it into a post upon request.

Re: Revelation- biblical based but expected to be pretty gri
Updates might not be frequent for a while. I have 27 crowns, 31 vials, 27 seats/thrones, 24 harps, various stars, various Babylonian merchandise, 2 cups, a bed, and the sword of the conqueror to make, just in the props department. This vial is made in OpenSCAD.

Re: Revelation- biblical based but expected to be pretty gri
That prior texture for the candlesticks is actually good for the feet of brass. It doesn't really work as gold for me. By cranking the camera with a saturation filter I get a better gold look. I have also prepared a two edged sword which will be coming out of the figure's mouth in this chapter conce...
