Re: Fantasy characters sets [half - 3] [Platonic F.F - 12]

I really like some of the backgrounds on there...I can't FULLY comprehend the wording of the terms/Q&A though, so just to be safe, I'm gonna double check by asking if by the following... Possible use in non-gaming? - It is available and illustrations HP. - For exhibition and distributed free of ...

Re: Free Textbox(Accepting Request for free)

I really like the birdies because...My last name is a bird. So I feel like I see my relatives <3
I think one with a sort of rainbow theme might be neat. o3o Just a personal opinion...Because all of these are colorful and awesome.

I've used similar sites to this for my comics and other stuff, but I really like the stuff on this site. Thanks for linking :)

Re: GUI Stuff + 1 Male Sprite [CC BY]

You have some really great stuff here. I particularly find the GUI you posted charming, but the graphics for text you included are neat too. I haven't had a good look at the sprite yet so it's hard to say- but you've got some great stuff. Well done! :)

Re: Deadly Heart Needs People Again!

Joshua: In regards to writing, things are currently in the outlining phase. There are four storylines which do have some differences (one more than the others), and outlining is taking its time, but I'd say it's at least over 50% done. I've just had a slight block on the main one I've been working o...

Re: Deadly Heart Needs People Again!

Sakura: I'm pretty sure you're the amazing one, considering you did like 99 percent of the work on that in the end. But I'm flattered by the praise :3 Marionette: Ah, okay! Well, depending on GUI and your personal opinions on certain parts of the story/how to incorporate them, that may be plausible ...

Deadly Heart Needs People Again!

I once recruited before, but some things have happened and a lot of people who were going to help me/were helping me with this project seem to have disappeared. So, with the few of us remaining (and joining) the project, I need to ask for some lovely people here on Lemma to help with Deadly Heart! I...

Re: Charahub

I've used it but I constantly forget my password for some reason, despite usually doing a pretty simple thing for myself- but it's definitely great for organizing, as long as you don't have an insane number of characters (I mean, 100 characters could be logical at a point but...Still...>w<). I like ...

Re: No main character sprite for commercial game?

The general idea of a faceless MC is pretty interesting, especially when you're being given the ability to name them. However, if it's going to be an MC included in CGs...I can't think of a good way to do it unless you just use a silhouette for their part so that it's not really clear what they look...

Re: Set Character or Blank Slate for Dating Sims

I'm mixed on the idea of a 'blank slate' MC. While I like the idea of making its personality develop to my personal preferences, it can have a serious impact on the game and would probably be hard to manage in a dating sim. After all, your personality changes in real life naturally affect your relat...

Re: Sprite emotions: open mouth and closed or just one state

More expressiveness is not a bad thing, but I know from personal attempts it can be hard- but if you have a really good coder (I'm an amateur) and such, it probably won't turn out badly at all. And overall, as long as they can keep the sprites and such after naming them in the script organized in na...

Re: major art changes in CGs?

I personally thing it might at least be good to have eyebrows. I've seen games done with and without mouths, and depending on how you do them, it can either come out great or really, really bad because of it...So it might depend. Leaving some to the imagination is good, but too much can make it sort...

Re: Are these sprites good?

'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. While I personally find them quite nice, it probably would depend on the game and such. But personally, I like the style plenty.
