Re: Can't Just Add Water
I thought it was really cute. I adored the little sister. Very touching for something so short. :) thanks! can those really be called endings? They're more like random cg... lol ^^; well I did say- It's got in-game choices, which don't really change the end at all, but affects what extra stuff you ...

Re: Are real world place names copyrighted?
wait wha? It's not infringement unless you actually make actual products and use the names of it is it?
making fictional planes in a story and naming them after real planes wouldnt be considered infringement would it? that wouldnt make sense...

Re: Why visual novel?
From what I've done so far, You should decide on the format and then go with it. I wrote a short story and am making it into a short VN. So far it's looking good, but I would have rather put together a story that works better as a visual novel. Although it's telling the same story, because it wasn't...

Re: Are real world place names copyrighted?
Copyright is for things people create. Unless you cause some kind of threat by using a country or city name, you're fine. All sorts of stories are set in real life places. Although be careful with things like business names, as they may possibly sue if they don't like their name being used. (...

Re: click skip disable?
oh uh, the first one (though I'm not sure what the difference is between that and the third one)
for now though I think hard pause would be good enough, but I want to find out if what I want to do can be done.

Re: click skip disable?
Hm. I think what Kxela's asking for is not a way to skip through transitions, but rather a way to prevent people clicking through text, or prevent people skipping. Could you clarify what you're after, precisely, Kxela? Do you want to allow the user to skip something, or prevent the user from skippi...

click skip disable?
so I did a search through the forums before this, I found a fairly old topic about whether there should be a click skip-disable funtion or not (click skipping through text transitions). I like the idea of having click skip disabled the first play through, then enabling it after beating it once. that...

Re: When to use pseudonyms and when do you use your real name?
one thing I'd like to point out- if you're going to ever copyright something- use your real name. If you use a pseudonym or title when coyrighting a work, you only get 90 years, but with your real name you get Life + 70. (i think, its been a while since I tookthat media law class) just what I though...
