Re: Saturn's Trip to The Sun & Other Destinations [GxG][SIM]
As for character interaction, what if you had an option for the two characters to physically touch? I don't know if that's creepy or not. So at first, when they're just meeting or becoming friends, they would high five or shake hands or fist bump as a greeting. Then, later on, they could progress t...

Re: Saturn's Trip to The Sun & Other Destinations [GxG][SIM]
I have not made as much progress as I would have liked.
I've written out Jupiter's interaction responses, and wrote a bit of the first club scene, but I havne't done much else.
This is a background of Saturn's Kitchen/Dining Area:

Re: Image Flip and Live Composite?
You need to use im.Flip for every separate part of your Live Composite. Something copy-pasted from one of my own projects: def draw_roco(st, at): #Normal Version return LiveComposite( (245, 700), (0, 0), "s/r_body.png", (0, 0), "s/r_outfit.png", (0, 0), "s/r_face.png", ),.1 def draw_roco_flip(st, at...

Re: Screen Elements Being Put Outside the Window
You can use hboxes, but then you need to define the width for each one. Or, now that I think about it, you can add an xfill True in your first frame, but I'm not sure if that would work? You could do the following, I think. frame: text "Welcome, [her_name]." size 30 hbox: xmaximum .33 xminimum .33 v...

Re: Screen Elements Being Put Outside the Window
It's an easy thing to fix. By changing the hbox that contains the columns into a grid , they will do what you want. Then adding yfill/xfills the frames get streched out and even and has vbox makes sure the text isn't overlapping. I had to take out the variables to test it, but it looks like this for...

Re: Saturn's Trip to The Sun & Other Destinations [GxG][SIM]
4. Hmmm. I only care about interesting personalities to be honest. You could have a type of personality determining question system for Saturn. For example, the player can choose dialogue options that make Saturn sound shy or a flirty playgirl, or a kooky weirdo. None of the options would change th...

Saturn's Trip to The Sun & Other Destinations [GxG][SIM]
http://i.imgur.com/u6Txmc5.png You are Saturn, and girl are you ready to go out there to cuddle and smooch some ladies. Problem is, you don't know where to start. When your pal jokingly mentions that you should go to the club, you think that is an absolutely fabulous idea. It's how they do it in mo...

Re: Chibi-fying backgrounds for chibi sprites
I've always abide by the squash/thickness/rounded principle used in a lot of animations myself.
I made a quick chart to shot what I mean, I hope it's helpful.
