[Closed/Fulfilled] Quick Job - Single Transition Creation

Hi, I'm the creator of The Parasol Festival, a yuri watercolor visual novel with art by Deji-chan. Since the game was created on physical media it has a natural, painted look. I would like to emphasize this by having scenes be painted on when there is a transition. I asked an acquaintance who isn't ...

Re: How to: Particles in ATL? (Or Instantiating Images)

Thanks again My end goal has gravity so that third link will likely help. Specifically I want customers to explode money at certain times in my selling game (not particularly going for realism here) My naive solution looks like this, but I wanted it to be more organic and had that feeling of "there ...

Re: How to: Particles in ATL? (Or Instantiating Images)

You know I saw that earlier and misread your last line saying that it should be rewritten in this manner now that ATL is out, as your sample was out of date because of ATL.

Reading comprehension is hard

Anyway thank you, I will try it out soon with my own things.

How to: Particles in ATL? (Or Instantiating Images)

My Google-Fu is failing me, all I can find on this is some posts talking about how ATL changes things and how the examples are out of date.

I'm fine with animating individual copies of an image, but then my question changes:

How would I go about creating instances of a predefined image at runtime?

Re: How do I make a Spiral Burst Pattern in ATL?

Thanks for your help, Tom. When I set the radius to 0 it doesn't actually set it, but setting it to something tiny like 0.01 works.

[Solved] How do I make a Spiral Burst Pattern in ATL?

Renpy 6.99.4.467 I'd like help with the polar coordinate functions of ATL. Specifically I'd like to make a spiral burst pattern like this: http://i.imgur.com/X2jpLoH.jpg I've managed to get this far: pnW1XxBfh-8 Using this code: show cloud: around (.5,.5) xpos 0.5 ypos 0.5 xanchor 0.5 yanchor 0.5 li...

Hi, sorry I've been busy, the project is still ongoing, but slow since Aleema left. I post small updates on my personal twitter: https://twitter.com/MoogsParfait I'm not going to do releases for some time, I need to add a lot more polish before I do it again I decided. I've been concentrating on my ...

Re: Commission review system?

My favorite reviewing sites use a 1-5 system that requires an actual review but also asks people to rate the review as helpful. The helpful rating on the review really cuts down on shoddy reviews. Amazon and Newegg do this. I don't think stats are particularly needed. Maybe it just gets talked about...

[Solved] Variable reference handling on save/load

I'm trying to debug the minigame in my visual novel. I have a global variable instance called AniseStats that contains the player character data, and my intent is to share it between the story sections written in Ren'Py and the minigame logic classes written in the underlying Python. I'm using Ren'P...

Re: The Parasol Festival [GxG][Romance][Economics][Commercia

I'm really glad you can relate to Anise, I enjoy comments about the writing since I'm the writer. I love feedback both negative and positive. =D It is indeed a medival, sword and sorcery setting, but Anise's country of Rodan thinks of sexuality along the same level as food preference. I went back an...
