You can put names of images you defined in the script into a "string" like this:

And the string "testOutfit" refers to the image that you defined with animations.

Thanks for the reply! Can you give me an example of how to do this? I tried:

But they just give error reports.

I've been using Ren'py for a while now and I have an idea for a gameplay mechanic which is a top down grid based tactical game. I'm curious to hear what people have to say. All right, quick update. The problem was eventually fixed by converting the mp4 files into webm instead of .ogv.
They're a little bit bigger, but so far it seems to work. =)

Odd question. I've got a face I'd like to have animated, but roughly half way through the animation, the mask stops working for a split second, causing the full (white) video layer to be visible. Heya guys, Sorry for the late reply. Got it fixed! So I chose to remove the hood variable (cause it would cause the model's hair to unequip even when wearing a different hat). Hey delta, A screen is just an overlay to the game, whilst a label is a section where you can put your code. So a screen should be inside a label instead of the other way around. #First you create the screen somewhere. screen my_screen: add "picture.png" #And then you can later add it to your label....
