Re: No title yet [apocalypse] [drama] [tragedy]
What do you mean by eating all energy? Kinetic energy? matter? heat? It would be very cool, for time would simply stop where the effect takes places, freezing everything and consume the matter afterwards. Maybe Cities would be evacuated if the laws of physics do not apply normaly and the grumpy gen...

Re: No title yet [apocalypse] [drama] [tragedy]
I'd love to help out. I'm not saying I'm so great at writing stories either, but if I can help I will! :) EDIT: Oh, and I'm loving the sprites. I'm not an artist, but I really like the art style. Thanks, dude! But I must say I have to decline now. Because I don't want to trouble anyone in this stag...

Re: 「Nay's art stuff」(critiques / feedback welcome!)
Uhm I'm not an expert, so just take it easy with me ^^; I think your style is ok, but if you want to achieve smoother and crisp line art, you have to work on it. Also, I like your new colour pallette more; I love soft colour. But you have to work on your gradation, make it simpler and cleaner, and l...

Re: No title yet [apocalypse] [drama] [tragedy]
Well, I'm not so good with coding myself (I've had to ask a ton of questions here), but I think my English vocabulary is at least somewhat decent. The idea sounds interesting, even if I'm not really one for kinetic novels. owo Would you be my partner? Ok, that sounds so cheesy. But seriously though...

No title yet [apocalypse] [drama] [tragedy]
Well, I'll just put my idea here. Probably will make this alone. Will make this only in my free time, and only for practice. In an alternative world, a meteor fell down and brought along a substance that eats every energy. Including mechanics and even buildings. In this crumbling world, chaos was in...

Disciple's art dump (critiques please)
Please help me learn more by giving critiques. Thanks before ^^ I'll make a list of things I should learn, and then after that, list out the things I feel good enough (or maybe if I got sick of it xc) I'll put up art request if I have time. * nature: rock, tree, grass, bushes, mountains, cliffs, wat...

Oh, that really makes the character blended in more. owo
Thanks, Melody! This really helps! I'll be sure to practice more and more ^v^

Re: Trouble with Prespective Grids
oopsie, I'm wrong XD. It's around $200, the EX one, I mean. The pro one is only $40, if you're good with some lack of features. And, well, I'm not really good with background, but I kinda like, draw one person, and then sketch a room, edit, edit, edit, until I'm good with it. I only learned a bit ab...

Re: Trouble with Prespective Grids
I'm kind of new to background, but I found this good software called Clip Studio Paint (Manga Studio before). It has this perspective point, and show only the important guide line so it won't disturb you from drawing. But the awesome thing is the snap tool. It will instantly guide your line to the v...

Re: Melody's Art Tutoring/Critiques [Open]
Hoho, you deserve the praise! I'm teaching some of my underclass men for my part time job, but I never really liked it, so I think you're awesome in so many ways. Anyway, without any shame, here you go: http://redbloodtomato.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/ex11.jpg?w=842 I was playing with editing; colo...

Re: Melody's Art Tutoring/Critiques [Open]
owo Just a little tweak and you got that already! And, yeah, it's always been my biggest weakness: editing. I should really learn how to edit them properly. Mind if I post this picture once I'm finished with it? I'll show you what I learned from you ^^ And, do you think it's okay to post another pic...

Re: Paint Tool Sai 2.0
I'm ex sai user. Now I'm using Clip Studio Paint EX (which I bought when it's on sale) and it's really awesome. But sai 2 is actually quite good. I mean, for a software that costs around $50, I think the functions it offers are quite good, almost just like Clip Studio Paint (or manga studio before) ...

Re: Melody's Art Tutoring/Critiques [Open]
Uhm, I'm learning how to do background but I can't get the right colour and I don't know what's wrong with the shading. And there's something in this picture that really annoys me but I'm not quite sure what it is. Please help me T^T
