Re: Manga Studio Debut 4, export as png

I worked with that program a long while ago, and MS4 Debut does not have the capabilities of exporting in PNG unless you're using a MAC

try upgrading to MS5 if you have the registration code it should be cheaper

Re: Offering Free Music Composition Services!

Your compositions are all flowing and have a nice rhythm. I just absolutely adore piano based music for it's complexity that somehow retains a sense of simplicity. Your compositions capture that feeling. My favorite would have to be the first one. The beginning made me really nostalgic for my favori...

Re: Lost & Found - A Dog's Life [Survival, Comedy, Free]

1. How do you like the concept/story? This seems like a neat project. I like the idea that you take the perspective of the dog and how you have named the characters in mind of a dogs world 2. What do you think of flat, vector art? Would it turn you off and discourage you from wanting to play the gam...

Re: Voice Acting for MC in Otome Games - Yay or Nay?

The straight answer: It really is up to you. my two cents: It depends on the feel of the game you're going after. I say adding a voice may enhance the gameplay. It could just be me because whenever I play otome, I feel as if I'm an observer. I may control the MC's actions but I don't consider myself...

Re: Idols Blossom [GxB] [RomancexFantasyxComedy] VN

1. With what you've provided it seems like a typical way to jump into the plot. I am a bit curious about the idols vs. magicks. I get a feeling that the two groups aren't very chummy with each other. unless they're not aware of eachother's existence at all . o. 2. I would do whatever looks best. If ...

Re: The Brink Of Debt [GxB] [Romance, Action, Vigil-Anti]

Interesting setting~ I think it has the potential to be really good. Looks like you're focusing on a small number of routes so I really look forward to seeing it in great detail! Character personalities look pretty mediocore right now. I'm not catching anything particularly unique about them that m...

The Brink Of Debt [GxB] [Romance, Action, Vigil-Anti]

So this is my first VN, I hope all will go well. Let me introduce you to this little storyline I've been brewing in my head for about a year but didn't start off until a month ago! http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/183/2/c/logo_by_miraiparasol-d7ozoyd.png THE PLOT Raine Kurerugi is what you co...

Re: Need tips for finding artists

As an artist who has received PMs about working free for a project, I highly discourage going down that route (I completely agree with papillon) PM'ing an artist about giving their services for free makes you come off as cheap as if you don't consider the time and effort put into the craft. Now you ...

Re: Roz's Writing Corner [Prompts/Critique welcomed]

Grammar wise, there are points where you shift tenses. Stick to one tense. Overall the writing is good if you're doing an outline for a comic of some sort of graphic novel. It states the actions and it's nice, concise and clear. In the sense of writing for a novel, there is some work that could be d...

Re: Disciple's art dump (critiques please)

I specialize in characters so I’ll work with that. So I drew over the image to show you You’re pointing her torso in one direction and her legs in another. While this is common, the transition between the torso and the legs is vital to make it look good. You’ll have to mess around with that. So for ...

Re: 「Nay's art stuff」(critiques / feedback welcome!)

I think your two main areas that you need to improve are convincing that the character is 3D(Perspective) as well as a little anatomy I had a little time so I went over the girl with the sword (sorry not the best quality because I don't have my tablet) http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/173/4/8/...

Re: Mabel's Pocket of Art

For some advice, I think it wouldn't hurt to look up some perspective tutorials. In some of your drawings you do a front on perspective which doesn't give it much depth or the vanishing point is set too high such as with your bg 2 A tip when coloring backgrounds:objects in the foreground are general...

Re: Would you say a visual novel 'needs' pictures of charact

I've seen one or two without sprites where it's all just text of characters talking back and forth (with some sort of background in the back). It's not the most eye-catching but it works. As for my opinion, I do believe it is important to see characters. I would liken it as a book compared to a movi...
