FF battle systems are too simple. Needs movement...

Monele: Good start, but the contours only cover about 1/2 (or even only 1/3) of the "splines" I mentioned...it should trace out the details even more...say, leaves from the branches.

The details, the details. I wouldn't suggest using this technique if the other (character) artwork is fine. I would rather suggest that you add splines to make it "look drawn", but degrading the amount of shadows and value...nah. Not that these photos are degraded TOO much, but it's degrad...

I resurface.

I wonder if you're still around, bardmanship?
Because I'm still writing the project, in case anyone is wondering...
Last time I believe I still sent you info on more BGs...you still around?

The indoor pic is a little too smooth for my liking, but that can be perceived as a style of your own.

"Three words: professional."

Can you email me? There are a few things I want to ask of you.

The trees look black...I suggest you accentuate them.

But yes, very nice late-afternoon scene.

From what I gather, a lot of the games today feature BGs that are slightly bigger than the screen for either panning or zooming (YES! I mean it! They actually zoom it up from the whole BG into a small part and YET it has no loss to quality from pixelization! Of course, SoraOrgan is the only game I h...

Normally, the art aren't even stored as JPGs. Either as PNG or some other high quality, lossless format that I don't even dare of conceiving... And since Sorairo no Organ has parts that magnify (as in having a trasition to ZOOM into a part of) the BG or CG, the size is actually even bigger than what...

That's a good start. Next you can focus on reflections if any. Leaves usually DO have reflections, so note that. The sky looks a little too XP-ish...maybe some clouds would help? As well, accentuate features. Things like markings on the tree, even far away, help. Don't bother with lining the edges o...

Actually, they'd go better with greyed out colour pastel-watercoloured characters.

All the backgrounds needs to be re-enhanced with brighter highlights. Otherwise it's going to look too flat and too processed.

Hardly. These pins are pinned across horizontally, and wouldn't hurt you unless you fell on it VERY hard (since it's technically NOT sharp). Traditional clothes impractical? Hardly as well. They are comfortable, suitable for a wide range of temperature, grand, and practical for different situations ...

Wow...not bad hair. Tie it up the Chinese way (in a bun directly on top) and pin it any day...I'd love that. (In fact, I'm doing that in the pic and now)

Mikey; No, this isn't the PJ team. The person holding the bamboo flute is reading the script, yes, but this is NOT related to PJ. The instruments ARE the guqin to-be-mentioned in the game, and are REAL traditional Chinese 7-stringed zithers. To own and play one of these is a symbol of academic refin...
