ScriptError: could not find label

Maybe it's because it's late at night but I just have absolutely no clue what this is saying the problem is: I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While running game code: File "renpy/common/00start.rpy", line 81, in script return File "renpy/common/00start.rpy", line 81...

Female Sprite Made Using ComiPo

I've been experimenting with using the program Manga Maker ComiPo to create sprites! So this isn't my art at all, I can't draw - I'm just arranging and editing the resources that come with that program and its expansions. What their website says about copyright: We do not make any copyright claims t...

Re: How can I stop making sexist games?

The only game on the list of those criticized I've played is Romance Is Dead, but I just wanted to chime in and say I think whoever wrote that email is definitely wrong about it. - Romance is Dead is a "story about a young black woman who is so backwards in her views on love and romance that he...

Re: Ideas Dump

A tabletop campaign with eight players (ranging from high school age to early 30's) who get sucked into the world of their campaign one day and see that their player avatars have come to life to fight alongside them (not sure how this would play out in VN format, but I found something about this id...

I don't think either of us meant to accuse you of making it sound easy! We were just talking about the flaws of other games about depression. Good to hear that yours will be more realistic. :)

Re: UPDATED- Depressed Writer [BxG][Slice of Life][BL][GL]

One thing I would recommend is that a definite "cure" not be made part of an ending. It's certainly possible to cure a person of depression, but relapses are just as possible. I know from personal experience that even with proper treatment over time, the illness is not something that is b...

Re: IDEA- Depressed Writer [BxG] [Slice of Life]

This sounds like a cool idea! I'm always interested in games that deal with mental illness. How much choice do you plan on giving the player regarding what the character writes about?

This sounds really cool! I'd love to play it when it's done. The art looks really good, and I'm excited to see more of it. Luke sounds like he might become my favourite character.

Re: Frost [College][GxB][GxG]

I've updated the main post with a screenshot of the week planning system I've got working now, and more information about the characters! Thanks akemicchi and curry for recommending using the DSE - now that I've figured it out, everything is a lot easier. I've been working a lot on writing and progr...

Re: Polite Speech

That's an interesting question! French has a similar concept - using "vous" instead of "tu" when you're being respectful - but English doesn't. I don't think English-speakers would often refer to someone as "mister", at least not where I'm from. Maybe "sir" in...

Re: Research help- Medical/Psychological advancement

I suggest researching how hospitals (mental or otherwise) have changed since 1946. Stick to peer-reviewed medical journals if possible. In case you don't know about it, you can easily search peer-reviewed articles using Google Scholar . And I'm no expert on modern psychology at all, but I know that...

Re: Non-predefined names do not go into namebox

Is there a reason you don't want to predefine all the names you'll be using? Because if not, it seems like that would be the simplest way to fix the problem.
