Re: Midnight Noize

This was a fun little game. I got fourish endings. I loved the art and the super-stylish menus, and the mood of the game was great! And the backgrounds were cute! XD But, I gotta say, it was a little too... vague for me. Not just the choices, (I'm actually cool with vague choices as long as it isn'...

Re: Midnight Noize

Very intriguing game, I'm quite impressed. Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. ^^ I was wondering if there was anywhere I could download the background music from, as it was beautifully haunting. The song at the end can be found here: http://sam-free.com/songs.html It's D-16, "End of the World"...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

There's nothing wrong with it! Don't take it like that, lol. I'm just saying it could use some work to get really good :P I'd say that in your second picture the shading on the shirt/hoodie/something lacks some contrast and could use a bit more definition. The first drawing looks nice, but I''m not...

Re: On Textbuttons and ui.viewport

KimiYoriBaka wrote:I don't what's wrong then. However, if you really can't get it to work, you could try the code in the music room cookbook and just adding a viewport to hold the music buttons.
I tried that and it now works as it should. Thanks for the suggestion! x3

Re: On Textbuttons and ui.viewport

I added the while, and it's still the same Dx And yes, I do have a button back to the menu...this is the full code inside the label: $ ui.vbox(xpos=0.871, ypos=0.018, xanchor='left', yanchor='top') $ ui.imagebutton("gui/return2_idle.png", "gui/return2_hover.png", clicked=ccinc(&q...

Re: On Textbuttons and ui.viewport

You mean like this? python hide: ui.side(('c', 'b', 'l'), xpos=32, ypos=25, spacing=10) pl = ui.viewport(draggable=True, mousewheel=True, xmaximum=375, ymaximum=480) while True: ui.vbox() ui.textbutton("Example", currying_rmp("music/lbs1.mp3", fadein=2), text_style='textwidget', ...

Re: On Textbuttons and ui.viewport

it's probably because you only call ui.interact() once. if you want to have the user be able to keep clicking on things you need to make a loop that calls it again each time a button is clicked either with jumps or a while block. Ah, I see^^ I have no idea how to do this though... I've used while-l...

Re: On Textbuttons and ui.viewport

Great, it now works as it should, thank you very much! ^^ There's a new problem though... once I clicked on the button, the music starts playing as expected...but the button stays selected (and highlighted), making it impossible to click anywhere else. If I enter the game menu and return, everything...

On Textbuttons and ui.viewport

Well, let's say that I have this viewport, and a few textbuttons inside. (Or rather, a lot, which is why I needed the viewport in the first place xD) I'm using the following code: python hide: ui.side(('c', 'b', 'l'), xpos=32, ypos=25, spacing=10) pl = ui.viewport(draggable=True, mousewheel=True, xm...

Re: How many people here likes kinetic novels?

It all depends on the story. For example, I really liked Red Shift and Moonshine, which were both very intriguing.
However, I prefer interactive stuff after all, especially if it's a longer story xD

Re: Midnight Noize

On a related note - I forgot that I'd already played through this one, so I should have asked before; could we add it to the Ren'ai Archives? I think I probably have the Mac version downloaded already... I'm sorry, I completely missed your post x_X Of course you can, I would be glad to see the game...
