It works thank you. What is the reason for it to stop working now?

[SOLVED] "Unbound method get_tooltip() must be called with Return"

Hi all, I'm revisiting an older project and whenever I hover over the text button in a screen, I get an error: I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While running game code: File "game/script.rpy", line 6022, in script call call first_memory File "game/memories.rpy", line 398, in script cal...

Re: Hiding mouse cursor on key press

Well, if you didn't updated RenPy and thing worked before then you changed game code in way what disabled it. Check if screen is being shown, just add some image to screen. If screen is shown then try adding "print('IT WORKS')" after "renpy.game.interface.mouse_event_time=0", if you see "IT WORKS!"...

I went to check on One Night Stand (years later lol) but it's still stuck on "This release is not yet approved". Is this list being dropped or...?

Hmm. It's helping me understand a little but this is all new to me. I think what I'm trying to do maybe too advanced for me right now! ^^;

Have a button selected by default

Hi all, When using a controller in a Ren'Py game, it feels much better if the menu buttons are selected by default (hovered state), but I have no idea how to go about doing this for every button in the game! It saves the player having to press left/ right twice. I know I need to figure out how I can...

Re: Adjust volume bar with left/ right arrow key

Try to set actions like key "focus_left" action SetDict (_preferences.volumes,'music', max (0.0, (_preferences.volumes['music'] - 0.1) ) ) key "focus_right" action SetDict (_preferences.volumes,'music', min (1.0, (_preferences.volumes['music'] + 0.1) ) ) Thanks Alex. This works but only for the mus...

[SOLVED] Adjust volume bar with left/ right arrow key

Hi all, On controller, I noticed to adjust the volume bars, you need to select them first, then press left or right. Since there is nothing left or right of my bars, is it possible to remove the select and just press left or right? It feels more intuitive to do it that way but I'm not sure if it's p...

Re: Hiding mouse cursor on key press

Create custom displayable, in event method check if key/pad pressed then set renpy.game.interface.mouse_event_time to 0. Then add this displayable to some screen and show screen at start of game. Hacky and RenPy can break it in future updates, but should work i think. This sounds like it should wor...

Hi all, I am trying to configure a controller and want to hide the cursor when the player uses the d-pad/ arrow keys. My mouse cursor currently hides after 10 seconds of inactivity: config.mouse = { 'default' : [ ('images/cursor.png', 30, 30)] } config.mouse_hide_time = 10 But I don't know how to ma...

And what if put your arrows buttons before other buttons in screen code? This might be that the fist button/hotspot in screen is focused by default.
Yes! :D Alex, you genius! It works! Thank you :)
