Re: Crime Opera: The Butterfly Effect [Banned from Steam] Released!
This looks really awesome, though putting banned from steam in the title make me curious, care to elaborate why or/what happened?

2D Hand-drawn digital Quality Backgrounds
Hi there, I'm once again open for work. I do hand drawn backgrounds. No 3D software or rendering used here. This gives a truly 2D feel which blends wonderfully with 2D sprites. Fully shaded (most examples) and Painted: ~$80pp Cartoonish (eg the school backgrounds, second group of 4 in examples): ~$...

Hi, what kind of dating sim is this? Will the majority of love interest characters be male or female?

Re: LF - One artist for CGs/Sprites/BG (18+/BL)
I would like to apply but doing all the art is not feasible for me. I would be happy to do either backgrounds alone or sprites/CGs alone. I will apply if I hear an update of reconsideration.

Re: Hiring Anime Artist(s) for Otome Game - Paid Position
Hi there, not applying to do sprites but I'm interested in background art. You can see my examples on my thread here: https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=50723 Could you provide some additional information regarding them? (I know this thread is looking for sprites but since yo...

2D Background Art
I am currently open for commissions. [Updated: 22/8/2018] I am an experienced visual novel background artist. My style is characterized by being 2D without the use of 3D scenes. This gives it a particularly unique look. [center] Here are some examples of my work: *Note: All Images have been scaled ...

Re: Seeking Technical Artist for Effects & Particles
Hi could you clarify a little bit. Are you looking for a programmer? Or an artist and someone else will program? Do you also have examples on what kind of effects these are?

Re: How do you Collaborate with Musicians?
So far, I have this: - Explain the premise of the visual novel (setting, time period, genre, etc). - Describe the feeling you want the listener to be feeling when they hear the song. - List anything you specifically want in the soundtrack (instruments, period style, genre, etc) - If the planned son...

Re: The Falconers: Moonlight [Supernatural/Thriller][Commerc
Woah! A NZ visual novel! I feel excited to see a visual novel from my home. Are you guys a kiwi studio? Would have been keen to hear some traditional Maori sounds in the music, but either way, I don't often buy visual novels because I'm always so busy making them, but I will probably end up buying t...

Re: Question: How can I add Crit/Miss chance in this code?
This might work....? I'm not sure... give it a test. You will need to add in the line for however much critical damage a crit does. menu: "MISSILE LAUNCHER" if angel_missile_ammo >= 1: $ angel_missile_ammo -= 1 $ player_damage = renpy.random.randint( current_player["min_missile_damage...

Re: Multiple text displayables at once
Thank you for the screen suggestion. Unfortunately it didn't work out because I can't use ATL and transformations on the screens so I can't get them to do the same thing as the text... (if you know how to do this, ie move the screens around the area slowly, fade them in and out, that would also be h...

Re: Multiple text displayables at once
Use screen? screen my_text: text "{nw=0.75}[word]" at group1pos text "{nw=0.75}[word]" at group2pos ...... label show_text: show screen my_text pause 0.5 hide screen my_text This just made the same thing happen where only the first one displays. Although I can now combine this s...

Re: Indentation with save and load screen
Have you tried getting rid of the indents causing the problem?
Or do the first lines need to be followed by a ":" character?
(Disclaimer: I'm not sure for renpy, but following python logic, that's what I'd assume)
