Hey I need some help with the GIMP program. Everytime I try to paint something in a color in always comes up gray. The only color that doesn't do that is black and it stays black. I not sure what is going on so can anyone please help me thanks.

Never mind about the GIMP problem. I fixed it and got it running. I just need to experiment with the program now.

Where did you download the Gimp from? Some releases require you to download and install the Gtk+ libraries first. I download GIMP from GIMP.org. When I try open GIMP2 there's an error starting the program. The LIBGLIB-2.0-0.DLL file is linked to missing export INTL.DLL:libintl_bind_textdomain_codeset

Which version of Photoshop should I use(I might buy that if GIMP doesn't work) I tried to download GIMP but it's not working on my computer. Maybe I should use an older version since I'm on a computer that uses Windows98. If anyone knows please reply.
