I agree with the above. Portraying the romance between two girls as different would only kinda hurt your story, it would be like giving into the fact that the romance has to be in some way different to a het romance, and concluding that it's not 'normal'. I think it's the outline, it looks like 2px, the problem would probably be solved if you just lowered it to 1. The way it is now makes it look a little blurry. A slight increase to line height would also help too. About the font itself, I wouldn't change that, the fact you used a manuscript font act...

Enjoying the game so far! :)
I do have one problem with it though - the text really hurts my eyes. I find myself having to strain my eyes to read it :(
My eyesight is pretty damn terrible though^ Lol.

Other than that, what I've seen of it so far is awesome :)
