Re: Background artist (CLOSED)

After working with Shinasty for a few months, I can't recommend working with her enough. All of her backgrounds were fantastic and exactly as described, and she was consistently flexible and communicative. I wouldn't think it twice to reach out to her again in the future.

Re: Music Producer/Composer with 9 years of experience. [AVAILABLE]

Commissioned a dark atmospheric song. Fabled Ways clearly cared about his work and delivered it faster than expected. He was open to feedback and worked with me until the song was exactly what we needed.

Re: [Video]VETERAN Video Editor/Animator(Trailer,Opening,ending)

It was a pleasure working with WhiteCharisma. He was professional, quick to respond, and gracefully accepted corrections during revision. I'm happy with the trailer he made and would likely contact him again in the future.

Re: [Open] Anime style Artist [Sprites, CG, Illustrations]

Wait a second. I'm sorry. I took Russian classes a decade ago and I misremembered. That doesn't seem to mean "good art, I'll message you." That's all I wanted to say)

Re: Changing background image in nvl mode without fading the text out and in

If you want to change scenes without the NVL window disappearing, try following the Dict Transitions instructions here: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/transitions.html#dict-transitions Do the whole thing, including the bottom part where it mentions editing options.rpy I don't know if this change wi...

Changing background image in nvl mode without fading the text out and in

If I simple have this:

Code: Select all

nvlcharacter "Hello."
scene bg sky
with dissolve
nvlcharacter "Goodbye."
When the scene background changes, the text "Hello." fades out and back in. Is there a way to do it without that occurring?

Safely send out demos

The concept of giving away a demo of my game sounds rather scary and unsafe, as that person could put it up or straight up copy the script. While I'm aware of how unlikely such a thing is, and to trust trustworthy people, is there a method to guarantee safety and give away demos of an unfinished game?

Maintain aspect ratio while manually resizing the window

Like the title says, I'd like to know if I can force to keep the aspect ratio while resizing the game window manually.

Looping music is not working

I'm trying to loop a song using this:

Code: Select all

play music "<loop 226.240>music/song.mp3"
When the song ends, it should go to the 226 second mark, right? but for some reason, it goes very slightly before the point. am I doing something wrong?

Using version 6.99.13

Re: How to reduce the space between blocks of text in nvl mode

I'm not sure what you mean, "under a vbox." What would I have to put, and where, exactly? Every change I've made has been on gui.rpy

Re: How to reduce the space between blocks of text in nvl mode

It has no effect. If I create a new project, and simply add define "define gui.nvl_height = None," my problem gets fixed. However, I also need to alter other parameters to properly align my text, so I need to also have this: define gui.nvl_text_xpos = 0.1 define gui.nvl_text_ypos = 0.1 def...

How to reduce the space between blocks of text in nvl mode

I've been searching all over the renpy website trying to sort this out, but nothing that's listed there has any impact on what I'm trying to solve. Right now, there's a big space between every two blocks of text when I use nvl mode, and I'd like to shorten it. I've tried altering "gui.nvl_heigh...

Highlighted text disappears when I click on it

I know this isn't exactly a renpy question, but in editra, when I highlight and then click on the highlighted text, it deletes it. Why is that happening? It doesn't happen in other word editors, and it's very annoying and dangerous.
