[DISCUSSION]Is a love meter a good idea?
My newest and first project is... you guessed it a love game . Serious question though. My partner thinks we should implement a love bar. As in progress. But I argued it kinda makes our game too "tropey"... So should it be implemented? I want this game to be less a dating-sim more a love s...

Re: Is it possible to have too much choices?

So I wanted to implement alot of player choices. But can choices become a nuisance? Can a game have too much choices? If the choices are badly wri...

Re: [DISCUSSION]What art style speaks to you the most?
I'd like to compare the art styles used for games I like and the content of the game, which gives life to said style. I like studying games I like and how they execute things, hoping I can learn the thought process behind such decisions. Warning: Shameless rambling ahead. -Persona 3 Portable Very d...

Re: [DISCUSSION]What art style speaks to you the most?
There's various artstyles I love and various ones I hate, though when I add them all up, I definitely may seem like a hopeless otaku weeabu or something, since most of the realism based and western cartoony styles tend to just be a bit irksome to me in the same way I'm sure most of you feel about M...
