Re: Summoner Sweetheart [VN & RPG Dungeon Mix] [FREE]

As an avid League player and coincidentally an Otome lover, I absolutely CANNOT wait to play this! <333

Thank you for existing and creating something that combines my two favorite things! :)

Re: Planet EVN

I'm not quite sure whether I'll be able to contribute heavily, but I can offer all the reviews that I wrote of English visual novels in the past and any future reviews that I might write. The biggest problem though is that I generally don't write reviews unless a game really knocks me off my socks....

Re: What are the ideal staff to make a short vn?

As everyone has said you should start by making a short game. Some of the greatest indie games of all time have a play-through of 4-6 hours. Something around 15 minutes should work, you can always expand on it. Have a go at it in intervals, I would say. First write your story as simple as possible a...

Re: What are some Do's or Don'ts in your opinion?

Hahaha I totally thought it was satire. XD I see. Yeah, I do believe everyone should do stuff not based on what they think people like lol Variety is more interesting. Unique is more interesting. And honestly, it is one of my biggest pet peeves. There are, IMO, way too many VNs that are following t...

Re: Smaller Project Struggles

I actually prefer the shorter games. Re:Alistair is a good example. It's short, sweet, and still my favorite otome game that I have played ever. While longer games can be fun and awesome if you have the resources, the shorter games tend to have more effort put into the story. And that's how it shoul...

Re: Love/Hate relationship with being a dev?

I would have to say for me... as a creative director I enjoy being able to bring people together to work on a project that we are all passionate about. I love having the ability to inspire others to work on what they truly love and motivate them to push themselves past their limits to improve upon t...

I know of several self-teaching programs that are offered for free. http://www.codecademy.com/en/tracks/python https://www.codeschool.com/paths These two websites offer a two week free trial, which I would take advantage of. The more the better, right? ;D Skillshare --> http://www.skillshare.com/cla...

On Being Creative

This video being generally related to this field of work, I feel this is the right place to post. I apologize, however, if I am incorrect in that assumption. This video has helped me a great amount over the years with my creative work. So I want to share this with all of you who are working so hard,...

Re: Home office?

So long as you're able to separate work from relaxation, I feel it would be highly beneficial. Keeping work to a designated area of the home is the best way to do it. I have a den dedicated to homework, writing, design etc... however when I'm relaxing or playing video games I don't ever go in the de...
